I have a 2015 hyundai sonata with 183k miles. I bought it used at 83,333 miles and safe to say it is pretty reliable. The only downside is the electric problems that popped up months after I bought it. Overall no serious issues.

What sort of electric problems ?

@@dougn2350 sorry just found my logins to this account, I had several sensors go off (TPMS, Lane assist, FCW System and Highbeam sensor) they all went off at the same time so it must be something that they connect to.

That's quite impressive. What maintenance routine did you do? What kind of oil do you use, and what mile do you change the oil?

I had this same exact car, color and all. Brought it brand new in 2016, even though it was a 2015. Orange is my favorite color and I loved that car. Unfortunately in 2017, some idiot didn't yield to oncoming traffic before turning in front of me and the insurance company totaled it out. Since that was the only year that color was made, I couldn't get another exact match.

Sorry you lost your car. I sold this one few months after making this video and i shouldn’t have done that. The newer ones are smaller and have less power.

@@ZOHAN1989 I agree unless you get the N Line but that still doesn't have all the features that the 2015 Limited Sport had. If they took the current Limited and added the 2.5 turbo and gave it the quad exhaust I would junp on that. But Hyundai makes you pick between luxury or power with the Sonata these days. The luxury trim lacks power and the powerful trim lacks luxury.

My 2021 Sonata SEL will hit 100,000 miles in 2 years. Yeah I drive a lot.
It now has 61k and no problems runs n drives like new.
Update May 2024: I'm now at 77,500 and still runs n drives great. Uses no oil.

A vehicle that burns a quart of oil every 1000 miles and has to have a new engine installed is not a reliable vehicle. My 2017 Corolla has 140,000 miles and doesn't burn a drop of oil that's what you call a reliable vehicle

I know right, I'm an older female I know a lil something Abt cars, I've been Uber/ Lyft in my( 2016) for 5 months now, I normally drive 5-6 hrs B4 taking breaks n I normally go for allotted driving time of 12hrs, it definitely burns oil, but these newer cars don't tick like older cars did when oil was low, a can randomly pops up on dashboard & I have to catch it, now the can did stay on, but either way it's completely out of oil, so I just add $3.99 corner store oil. I changed it over to 30/40 weight oil, no major work, a sensor in my pedal which slows acceleration it's $300 to fix, but my mechanic erased the codes 2-3 times...I LOVE THAT MAN😂, from here on Imma put gas treatment monthly, I've added Lucas Oil stabilizer but not all in one time, changed air filter n wrote milage on it, Imma change oil filter since getting an oil change is pointless in mine eyes cuz I'm adding oil weekly.
