I love these comparisons 😁 After listening through the sample files, I feel like "A" has a wider soundscape and clearer separation of the high notes. Quite surprised the difference was this noticeable, both sound quite good though.
For home listening I’d probably prefer B. A has more hi end extension, which probably causes its slightly wider soundstage, but starts to sound harsh on some recordings. B is rounder, with no harshness at all which makes it more pleasant. My choice is B, but it would also depend on the speakers response/character; rounder/duller speakers with A, brighter speakers with B. Thank you Francisco!
B has more tonal spectrum, A has slightly more leading edge attack, but less tonal spectrum. I suspect B is the 2M and A is the Concorde. I await the answer. I would prefer to own B
B for me on my system based on switching part of video. Low end better - deeper soundstage - more 3 d because the B cartridge seems to relax & seperate better in lower freq. A seems to compress lower a bit.. Both are a bit harsh in High freq which may be stylus related? Not a really big difference between the two. My 2 cents
I had the 2M black in the past and will guess it is B. I must say I don’t know the Concorde so it will be challenging to identify. The 2M is a great choice for a MM stylus although being exposed to MC it’s difficult to go back.

Just a slight preview on the mobile..... A more open, just a bit, seems very similar.... Since listen on mobile i cant hear any lower spectrum and differences. I assume A is 2M. Concorde Music styluses fit to OM/regular Concorde? Thanks And its interesting how those two styluses differ in compliance rate, different arms target.

A is faster, and has more Energy but a little higher distortion. B is limited in the speed especially when high hits are done. The stereoscopic picture is smaller. It is smoother and reveals good but not at the same level as A. I would assume Ais the new Concorde Music Black.
@@HiFisquarepants That is hard. Technically I like A more because it is faster and has more energy, but sometimes it seems too much. Longer hearing will be better with B. So I would go for B finally.

There is Nothing what we can compare. Its a compressed TH-cam Video that we hear on different mobiles, pc, Tablets, tiny speakers and different headphones. We can not tell the differences on your System. Its Impossible.
@@HiFisquarepants Thanx for the test. Concorde music has better pronounciated low end, and almost same highs (may be a bit more patient). That's sad that these are at a senseless price range (it's not $100 already, and it's not $1k where a good sound begins)

Excellent test. Both sound good . A sounds more full bodied and B more transparent.

I am most interested on how well they handle inner groove distortion. Sibilance on the the inside most track is the bane of my recording.
