In my opinion this is a masterpiece. It does everything you can ask for in a fragrance.
I got both Layton and percival in my collection. Both of them give me compliments from women.
I´m sure they do 😊👌
I bought samples of both, Layton and Percival, and I most definitely liked Percival more. It's fresh, bit sweet, woody, aromatic, and smells super good in the dry down. The opening is awesome as well. Projection could've been better though. But a fantastic scent overall!

I come from Germany. In this country, almost everyone claims that Percival is "simply" a shower gel fragrance. I cannot comprehend this. It is so much more. For me, it is the best perfume there is. I think it's good that you probably also see it similarly to me. It just smells awesome. ✨
I blind bought percival after weeks of procrastination and i have no regrets ..it works magic on my skin and I get so many unsolicited compliments at work and at the store...it's a really sexy freshie and that is hard to come by

I just got this fragrance today and I love it. To me, it's a far more refined and natural smelling A&F Fierce. The scent cloud that it makes in the air is unbelievable.

Bought percival, but sold it again immediatly.. i loved the smell but the performance was seriously lacking, in about 2.5 to 3 hours the scent was pretty much gone on my skin
Bought sedley instead at it works so damn well on my skin
That´s so interesting, I usually hear the opposite about both. I think both are great performers 😊
@@SandraSolomonFragrance yeah i watched a bunch of reviews before i bought since there is nowhere in my area i can test these fragrances, so i was kind of surprised and disappointed once i realised how it performed on my skin, but i guess its just all about skin chemistry, but yeah sedley and layton work great on my skin for some reason
Personally, I love it. I'm kinda just getting into fragrance really. I ordered a sampler of Percival - Oud for Greatness - Blessed Baraka - and Pacific Rock Moss. I'm thinking that fragrances should perhaps suit the person wearing it. I liked Oud for Greatness and Blessed Baraka, they seem a bit more masculine. I imagine them working well on guys who are dressed in a suit. But Percival is a bit sweeter and I think it suits me perhaps the most. I loved it right away. I'm thinking of sampling some more by Parfums de Marly. I heard Percival was a good starting point for someone new. I'm a guy and I like it. What others do you recommend?
Hi LucidDream! 😊 I love Herod from Parfums de Marly, one of the best tobacco fragrances with a vanilla note. A masterpiece. Pegasus is amazing if you like almonds. Godolphin if you like leather. Personally I’m not so fond of Layton but most people love it so you might want to check that one out as well 😊 Welcome to the wonderful world if fragrances, its neverending and addictive 😉😊🙏🏻
@@SandraSolomonFragrance Thank you, Sandra! I'm still really trying to understand it all right now, like how to describe the different notes. Also that was my very first sampler, so I'm just now starting to find what I like best. Out of those that I sampled, Percival was definitely my favorite. I'm still trying to figure out if I really like Blessed Baraka or Oud for Greatness, I see them recommended a lot. Need to test those two a bit more. Pacific Rock Moss was pretty decent, very light though. Percival certainly lasts a long time. I used it after I got home from work and went out around 5. Yet here it is the morning now and I still smell it.
I made a wishlist of those I'd like to try. I did put Herod, Pegasus, and Layton on there. Just added Godolphin to it. I'm watching some of your other videos to get some more suggestions. I'll try them in time. I'm not sure how others would like what I do, but I really enjoyed the fresh and sweet smell of Percival. Perhaps it's tied to my personality, because I am sort of a sweet guy and not like super macho. lol

Pegasus because that almond note is unique! Which one would you choose?

I'm really liking this scent, but it smells so close to Montblanc Legend EDP which is much more affordable.

You mean both smell very similar to A&F Fierce, cause Legend is based on Fierce and is undeniable that PDM was heavily inspired by A&F.

Others may not agree with me on that women can wear it, I think women can wear many mens fragrances and that can be very cool and sexy but I have lots of friends who would never wear a mens fragrance 😊 Try it out and see what you think, it smells amazing 😊👌🏻
