  • There is a saying in journalism that “all politics are local.”
The same can be said about white supremacy and the oppression it deploys against people of color across the word. All oppression is local. And that is probably why it is so easy for many of us, particularly black people, to lose sight of the fact that we’re not alone in our battle to take on the white supremacist constructs that harm all of us.
There are few public intellectuals more capable of drawing oppressed people together around a clear message of unified, anti-imperialism than Temple University Professor Marc Lamont Hill. There are few subjects Hill can’t engage in with a razor-sharp precision and moral clarity. He is called on to discuss the failures of domestic policy and how those failures perpetuate racism.

Exactly. All of this wanting black support, but many of these groups are racist themsleves. I want to support humanity and I don't want anyone hurt, but I find it interesting that both groups are soliciting African American support but nobody is asking for Latino, Asian, Native American etc support. I would just like to know why they seem to single out just one group? The group with the least power monetarily or politically. Serious answers only please. That being said, all of this chaos will be over if they release the hostages.

@@Imhotep111st of All Muslims are one,we dont deffrientiate between white and black etc. THAT should be made clear. You can not separate rest of Muslim nations from Arabs. We are all Arab we are all black(i am by birth tho).
Therefore, there were many slaves, who were Muslim, that pathed the way and helped many slaves free, they also played a vital a role in pathing the way for the black liberation and resistance movements,in our day and age we had men like Mahammad Ali and Malcome x and other men too.
The richest man at one point was an african man,Mansa Musa, where they say civilisation was in Africa before europe and he was a Muslim man,who was generous and patriotic to his land and to his African people,in fact he traveled so much that its said he has been to the u.s before the white man,but obviously unlike them,he traded with them, they welcomed him and he went on his lovely voyage...
If we say Africa,Somali,by the late President Barre had hopes it would one day free all of Africa,as well as Gaddafi did too, hence why Sitad Barre was made to go,followed by Gaddafi. They believed in One united Africa, free from white colonist.
In Africa, wealthy Arab men build houses/schools orphanages to African villages and feed the poor.
There are Muslims who still donate to African villages, even if it has christians living there.
I think you need learn the history that it was Muslims that fought alongside resistance in South Africa and Hid South Africans in their homes. You need more education. Palestinians alway spoke for black peoples in America who are facing their own struggles-yet,whilst, they face their own. And when recently George Floyd was murdered they did their own way of showing solidarity by graffitis and protest, doesnt have to be big.
You cant ask a poor person to feed another poor person, nor can u ask a double amputee to run for you when you at least have 1. Cry me a river.
Infact, what much did people who weren’t facing what Palestinians are facing(us black people in the west) show solidarity when Iraqis,Afghans or Muslims in France were/still going through. More heat IS on poor Muslim countries, though they fight in resistance. It’s a shame that you as a oppressed,to whatever degree can ask solidarity in return like justice is business transaction, from a people who are in a genocide. Your a morally colonised, and a stupid one at that because u can switch morality and justice on off, they dont need it,but u need it.
I dont like tit for tat but u need a little splash-its Muslim men who had been sacrificing the entire life for past 70+ years trying to liberate your christian brothers too,as they fight for ALL Palestinians.
A person like you is not even worth having as a friend let a lone a spouse or neighbour, because if their house was on flames u would of though “they never gave me a grain of salt”-i could never trust you as a friend,or if i was your child even,to hear my mum so inhumane. Shame on you.
People like you need to stay low and leave humanity to its own before you reform, and since its a transaction(capitalist sheep mind) then at least remove the ignorance to trade.

You can’t be serious? I don’t wanna paint all Arabs( or any group) with a broad brush, but a lot of your Arab Brothers and Sister’s straddle the fence when it comes to being in association with African Americans.
It is only during a crisis in the middle-east or here in the U.S do Arabs want solidarity with African Americans because now you are painted as bad guys by the American media. But when the smoke clears most Arabs assimilate with white America and even become adversarial towards Blk people in the U.S.
We just tired of being played. My heart does go out to the innocent people on both sides of the conflict, but other than that, we dealing with our own issues in THIS country.

Whose oppressed? Lol you do realize the jewish people returned to their homeland and agreed to split the land equally after they spent 2000 years being raped tortured and set on fire culminating in a genocide that wiped out half the population which the Palestinian leaders enthusiastically supported? You do realize the other half of Israeli jews come from communities of mizrahi who were ethnically cleansed from arab countries and had to flee? You do realize Palestinians were offered their own state 5 times and refused because they wont accept anything less than Israel destroyed and jews expelled or forced to live under Muslim rule as my mizrahi grandfather had to in land he lived in before islam existed? You do realize Palestinians massacresd jews in hebron, jenin and gaza long before israel was declared a state. You do realize the hamas charter calls for islam to kill all jews and any christians who refuse conversion? You do realize when Palestinian refugees were taken into jordan they stages a coup to overthrow the government there too which is why jordan wont take anymore of them. Likewise they massacred christians in lebanon and Israel saved them. You don’t have to take my word, talk to an assyrian sometime. They were in iraq and pushed out or killed and like jews denied a homeland not under islamic rule. Westerners do not understand at all how the middle east works nor the history of that region

Some years ago, I was living in Brooklyn and woke up. I thought there was an earthquake, the floor was shaking. I looked outside and the Haitians were marching across the Brooklyn bridge to City Hall. I decided to walk with them to see where they were going. I heard many people in the crowd say: "What does that have to do with me?" What most of them didn't know and what I found out is that the United States had a military occupation of Haiti for 35 years! We guided their future in many racist ways and affected the disaster that is Haiti today. In fact, President Aristide was exiled in an American helicopter. The eyes of Americans are deliberately kept closed to what our government actually does. Until you understand that, you'll have no power.

How politically correct we must be, always measuring our words and our countenance. I agree that one people should not be free at the expense of another. And while no one with a compassionate and righteous heart can support Hamas, that same person should certainly demonstrate the love and compassion to all people- in this case being both the Isaeli and Palestinian people. There is no time limit in the definition of colonialism therefor the British will always be considered colonialists in Australia. And the Palestinian are no exception the Arabs occupied Palestine by force in the seventh century and brought a different language, a different culture and a different genetics. The origin of Arab culture is in the Arabian Peninsula The source of the Arabic language is in the Arabian Peninsula The source of the religion of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula. On the other hand, the Jews' cultural and genetic origin and the language of the Jews were all created in Levant (Palestine). They did not come from outside, but were created in Levant (Palestine). The Hebrew language is the only Canaanite language that survived. The Jews lived in the land continuously before the Arabs before Islam and Christianity. Jews are considered indigenous by definition because the origin of the Hebrew language, The culture and religion of the Jews originated in the Levant.
True, Jews have been a minority among Muslims and Christians most of the years but the fact that they are a minority does not negate their seniority they are the oldest residents. And the fact that the Arabs are a majority does not make them natives they will always be colonialists like the British in Australia.
The palestinian try to change the defenition of colonialism so that because it happened long ago in the seventh century they became natives. There is no time limit to colonialism and they are not considered natives under the definition...

The palenstinians are selfish entitled people who want the whole world to focus on them, while they never do anything for themselves and the isrealites and zion movement shouldn't be perceived as the invaders, when it's the arab muslims who are the real invaders and by 2050 arab muslims will out populate every other ethnic, cultural and religious people in the world. Racism is not even considered an issue as there is no recourse for victims of racism. Domestic workers from Africa face challenges with mistreatment and even assault in Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. ***Please take your time and read this document, also you may be familiar with the names of former key leaders. All is documented in the archives at the UN.***
Hadrians curse the secret all arabs know.
At the Annapolis Conference, President Bush spoke about his vision regarding the virtues of two nations for two peoples.
One of those peoples - the Jewish people - has a clear identity. Yet it would be interesting to know the identity of the second people. Already in 1977, a central spokesman of that “second people” (a PLO leader, Zahir Muhsein, head of the as-Sa’iqa Organization) revealed the truth in an interview to the Dutch newspaper Trouw. Here are his words:
“The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the State of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism for tactical reasons. Jordan, a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. As a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.”
Are you in shock? If the Palestinian people do not exist, what does exist? Arabs who live in Eretz Yisrael, and who have disguised themselves as“Palestinians” for fraudulent purposes. “Only a means for continuing our struggle against the State of Israel” - in Muhsein’s words. A fraud so successful that even George W. Bush can be found seeking a state for that fraud!
Do you think Zahir Muhsein is alone? This transparent fraud about the so-called existence of Palestine is revealed to us by all Arab leaders.
In 1974, the late Syrian President, Hafez al-Assad,declared, “It would be fitting for us to mention to the responsible Israeli authorities that we view Palestine not just as an inseparable part of the Arab nation, but also as a part of southern Syria.” In 1987 he reiterated this at a conference in Amman by saying, “A country named ‘Palestine’ has never existed.” Jordan’s King Hussein responded, “The appearance of the national Palestinian persona serves as a response to Israel’s claim that Palestine is Jewish.”
Yet the prize goes to Yasir Arafat who, in 1970 with candid simplicity, told the reporter Arianna Palazzi, “The question of borders doesn’t interest us… From the Arab standpoint, we mustn’t talk about borders. Palestine is nothing but a drop in an enormous ocean. Our nation is the Arabic nation that stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea and beyond it… The PLO is fighting Israel in the name of Pan-Arabism. What you call ‘Jordan’ is nothing more than Palestine.”
Such revelations are an eye-opener for anyone who has not understood until now the masked ball being run by the Arabs. The true meaning of Arafat’s words - that Palestine is Jordan - is that for the Arabic people living under the “Pan-Arab” umbrella, in addition to over 20 Arabic countries, there is already a country called Jordan that was established by the British for the Arabs on 78 percent of the Land of Israel. This is land promised to the Jewish people by the League of Nations in 1922.
Anywhere else on earth, could an additional country be established for a people that already has 21 countries?
All the same, there is nothing like the testimony of a PLO founder, Ahmed Shukari. Already in 1956 he proclaimed from the UN podium, as the Arab League’s ambassador there, “Such a creature as Palestine does not exist at all. This land is nothing but the southern portion of Greater Syria…”
And if Ahmed Shukari says that Palestine does not exist at all, the logical inference is that “Palestinians” also do not exist. That same Shukari was born to a Turkish mother in Lebanon, was a Jordanian lawyer, served as the Syrian ambassador to the UN, the Arab League’s ambassador to the UN, and the Saudi’s UN ambassador. In 1964, after this talented actor who changed loyalties like a chameleon was fired by the Saudis, Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser hired him to found the PLO, an organization dedicated to the “liberation” of a country that - in his own words - did not even exist.
All the prominent spokesmen of that poor, homeless “people” openly say the following: The Arabs who live in Eretz Yisrael are precisely the same Arabs who live in Syria, Jordan or Lebanon. They are not a separate country, but a fragment of the enormous Arab nation divided among many Arab countries. In their identity they are Arabs, and the invention of Palestine is just a transparent bluff - a means for continuing our struggle against the State of Israel for our Arab unity.
Can any testimony be better than that of the Arabs themselves, by exposing the lies and deceptions involved in Palestine’s creation?
Yet the most compelling argument for the idea that the “Palestinian people” is a fraudulent invention (and that the Arabs are all one people) was expounded by none other than Mr. Husseini, head of the Supreme Arab Committee to the UN special committee that was deliberating on Eretz Yisrael in 1947. Here are his words:
“An additional consideration of great importance for the Arab world is racial uniformity. The Arabs lived in a broad expanse stretching from the Mediterranean Sea to the Indian Ocean. They spoke one language, and shared a common history, tradition and aspirations. Their unity was the solid foundation for peace in one of the most central and sensitive regions in the world. For that reason, it does not make sense that the United Nations should facilitate the establishment of a foreign entity within that well-rooted unity.”
Indeed, Husseini is correct. His declaration before the UN’s investigative committee exposes the simple fact that there is no “Palestinian” language and no unique “Palestinian” culture. The Palestinians are Arabs, and they cannot be set apart from the Jordanians, Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc.
Remove from the argument the lies, and you reveal that the conflict is taking place between the Arabic, Muslim empire of 21 states and the Jewish people - claiming their right to their one and only historic homeland, consisting of less than one fifth of one percentof the lands under Arab control.
This is the twisted story of the biggest, most unprecedented fraud in history. It involves such a successful bluff that many people have no doubt about its veracity. This propaganda has become a powerful weapon whereby Israel’s enemies, the Arabs, are trying to conquer Eretz Yisrael without firing a shot - and without an army, tanks or jets

Because it's about fighting all oppression everywhere. Nelson Mandela said, a man who changes his principles depending on he is dealing with is not fit to be a leader. Mandela also supported the Palestinian Liberation Movement and saw Arafat as an ally. Arafa supported his fight against apartheid not just in rethoric but also by placing resources at his disposal. That is what it's all about. You simply cannot fight oppression alone. You need allies! That is why the African National Congress and the current president of South Africa, supports the Palestinians. There is a long history of mutual support against oppression.

I’d ask that you look into some of the most prominent black figures who have spoken in relation to Palestine and the struggle of freedom in relation to say blacks in America, there is correlation of ones struggle to the other. To each their own though, i don’t believe in saying we should focus on our own problems is bad or incorrect as that is legitimate but when has that mentality worked previously in regards to folks uniting on the front. There is an opportunity to change the world with these types of movements and i feel like we miss our mark when you see folks wanting to not venture out. Truth and eloquence! This oppression is the same beast that has reared its teeth at all of us. Any thinking person knows how devious the plots. We should all care for each other’s struggle. Support if not taken in action can still be taken in one’s heart. We mustn’t underestimate the power of being with each other in spirit and if we are capable, in action. The events unfolding surely serve as a mirror for all of us to see clearly our brothers and sisters as well as the snakes in the grass. This may be a turning point far more profound than we can imagine. All sense of human rights hangs in the balance. If cruelty prevails, it will eventually come knocking at our door wherever we reside. I urge anyone reading this to not be distracted by our small differences and instead recognize that our shared cause is liberation from cruelty and oppression. We should strive for an inclusive and constructive dialogue that does not promote one group's superiority or use divisive language. How can we cultivate unity and oneness between Blacks, whites, and Arab brothers? A conscious individual, regardless of their race, recognizes that the evils of racial supremacy are not determined by one’s pigmentation or ethnicity, but rather by their character. Ausar Guidance encourages us to focus on promoting equality, understanding, and unity among all people, regardless of their background. Let us strive to educate and uplift one another, by fostering a society that values the Laws of Maat.

But, how dare you disregard the valid point of the commenter who raised points about how Arabs such as, the Arabs who are the majority stock of Palestinians, have occupied lands of African peoples such as in Egypt, Sudan and Palestine, thereby displacing African peoples, oppressing Africans and in the case of Sudan going to war with them❓ Ever heard of the war with the South Sudanese people (or Daufar) which lasted for about 30 yrs, until a new nation of South Sudan prevailed. How come everyone else's oppression is worthy of worldwide outrage but when it comes to black people's oppression wherever in the world it may be then the oppression of whichever black sect it may be is the outrage for only black people, well at least those with some consciousness❓ Where are the Arabs in the struggle against racism against black people in Africa 🌍 and worldwide❓

@@VentureHolly thank you for making my point. For your info...I also commented on a Jewish channel. they screamed about hitler and how they have been victims of anti semitism. I then confronted them with the 20 million african king Leopold killed vs the 6 million jews by hitler....guess what....some of them told me that it was a 100 years ago and that I should move on... so they are both equally racist against black people...may God help them.

Our people need to stay out of it. They can turn it on us, it is not about us at all. Yes, similiaries to how we were treated, but they wouldn’t defend us in the same way. We can be sympathetic on either side but we should support. That will back fire.
