- Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss is an activist and spokesperson for Neturei Karta, which vocally opposes Zionism and the state of Israel. Irrespective of whether or not the Palestinian people was affected or the land was uninhabited, Neturei Karta say the Jewish people didn't have a right to self-determination. The establishment of the state of Israel prior to the coming of the Messiah is sinful and an act of rebellion against God. Weiss says Jews yearn to return to the Holy Land and pray to God to bring about that end day, but in the meantime, they are tasked with patiently waiting, serving God, being loyal citizens and upholding the Torah in every land in which they live. This interview was conducted by Dr. Safiyyah Ally at Reviving the Islamic Spirit convention in Toronto in December 2022.

Seeing the first time a Jewish person praising the God, before starting his conversation. I didn’t know they have such tradition as Muslims do. The Song of Songs by King Solomon is a love poem but even if it is meant as a prophecy it mentions nothing about Jews being forbidden to create a nation. How deluded would you have to be to ignore that King Solomon himself build a Jewish nation and the first temple in Jerusalem? No major historian and not even Hamastinian colonialists deny that King Solomon lived 3000 years ago and build the first temple. Furthermore, the second Temple stood for 400 years and was rebuilt with financing by King Cyrus who was not a Jew but your Christian churches like to ignore the fact that he is called a Messiah by Jews in the Bible (see prophets Ezra, Jeremiah). Does this so called Rabbi deny the Bible ? Then what kind of a rabbi is he ? It is true that Jewish community leaders re-interpreted the song of songs to caution Jewish communities in Turkey, Yemen, and Islamist occupied Spain from rebuilding the temple and seeking independence from empires of their day. They had their reasons and in my personal opinion they were wrong. But even the three oaths are an agreement. An agreement which was broken.

This beatiful talk of this rabbi brought tears to my eyes. It took me to my childhood when he said "we babysit each other's children". It is so true! I am from muslim country and we embraced jews. When i tell my american friends my jewish neighbours and us back in my homeland were like a one family, we eat each other's food, shared each others joy and grief, babysit each others children. I'm from a country with major muslim population as well, but there aren't many Jews here and unfortunately there are some people here who use the Quran as an excuse to speak badly about them as if they're all bad and none of them are good, especially relating to what's been happening in Palestine. The love and truth that this man speaks, the love and truth in his eyes had me crying, and I'm glad to know many of you were with me. I am Christian, and really didn't know much about this war before now. As a 40 yr old woman I felt it was time to educate myself on all the history. I have taken time each day to read and listen to scholars on each side, as well as unbiased history from historians, theologians, political scientists, even archeology findings. Today I prayed during meditation for God to show me what is right.
I started doubting my answer, but this man confirmed it! I asked God if Israel is his will because the Jews are his chosen people. He told me that the land no longer belonged to them because of their sins.
Only the holy Spirit could bring them back, not man by using force. The sins they have committed against the Palestinians go directly against the 10 commandments. Christians that support Zionism are doing so out of blind indoctrination.

His grasp of history is poor. Zionism was invented by Anglican aristocrats like Lord Shaftesbury in the 1840's in England. They were avowedly anti-Semitic and wanted to facilitate and speed up the 2nd coming of Christ. It was adopted by Theodore Herzl in Germany in the late 19th Century and much to the disgust of most European Jews.

My aunt was Palestinian born in Hebron and raised in an orphanage there when her mother died giving birth ( very common all over the world ). She told me that every time she would go back to visit relatives in Hebron she couldn't help but notice how many Palestinian Christians had given their children moslem names and converted to Islam. Jimmy Carter wrote in one of his books that Everytime he'd go to Israel mostly Arab Christians would beg him to intervene or amplify on their mistreatment by Israeli soldiers and government making it so hard to survive.
