- Join Me, Frank, Andy, Robert, and our guide Ollie as we embark on a thrilling traverse of the munro An Teallach in Torridon, Scotland. This challenging hike takes in two munros - Sgurr Fiona and Bidean a Ghlas Thuill - and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
The walk is a demanding one, which took us 9 and a half hours to complete. But the effort is well worth it, as the guidebook describes this walk as undoubtedly one of the finest mountain walks in Scotland, offering a dramatic and unforgettable day.

One of the top 10 mountains in Scotland. It’s an amazing experience. We crossed from Dundonnell and took in all the tops as well. I remember being savaged by horse flies after we dropped off the last top on the walk out. Thanks for sharing.
An amazing day out Graham! Definitely in my top 10 days out so far. It was great fun with the guys and glad we organised a guide as some of the ridge was a bit airy!!!

Awesome day out. Contrast in the weather from top to bottom but you did get your views. Seemed like the wind just dropped away. Superb ridge, a great adventure. Spot on video.

Oh wow Paul! What a day you got, it looked phenomenal! Cracking to know that you used a guide. I think a lot would think that they don’t need to but the enjoyment that having a guide with you can add can turn a good day into a great one.

Not too often I see crowds in your videos. I’m guessing most don’t opt for that scramble route. Great hike Paul!
Cheers Seth! its one of the classic mountains so gets the crowds! There is a bypass path which is relatively straightforward to avoid the scramble! but why would you!!!! the ropes certainly help with the drops! cheers again mate!

Great video as usual Paul. Good to see Ollie; he helped us bag all the Skye Munros. It looked like only one of you were roped up, was this the case? The reason I ask is that I still have to do An Teallach and wasn't sure if I needed a guide or not. Thanks for any advice around this and keep up the good work
Thanks so much! Yeah Ollie was excellent, very knowledgeable and a safe pair of hands. He gave us plenty of scope for roping up or not although a few sections he did ask us all to rope up so I guess we took his advice. I think if you don't do the scramble then you wouldn't need a guide? We wanted to do the scramble so decided on Ollie. I guess if you were really comfortable then you could probably do it yourself? There were lots of different routes to follow and it would be easy to end up in a sticky situation 😯😯😯. Paul
