omg I need this kind of tarp 😍 a fabulous idea I use a hot stove under my tarp with 90' elbows now I can go straight up too... Thankyou much appreciated for sharing
What kind of cot is it, I’ve had the heaviest most robust ‘Coleman’ ones that could technically be Furniture, as well as the ‘Helinox cot one’ which at 5 pounds is a pretty good product but I can’t sit up on it to tie my boots.
@@jpope-ster1274 this is a low profile cot too, what do you mean you can’t sit up on it? This is from Ozark Trail. You can find them in Walmart or on their website. It folds into 4 sections so it’s not as small as the helinox but it’s about half the size of a Coleman deluxe cot that folds in half. It’s not light weight and won’t fit in a backpack but for car camping or using a wagon or canoe or sled in winter I love it cause it sets up so quick. Thanks for watching
@Random Days I really like this shelter. It’s the Hammock Hot tent from Pomoly. Essentially it’s just a 14x14 tarp with a stove jack. It’s pretty sweet. Thanks for watching
Love your vids and I’m into a few step 2’s as well watching this LOL. Love Remy and I have a little smaller version named Henry who turns 1 year old Saturday. Great job bro!!
really dig the camp set up! The stove is sweet but Id have set the feed door towards the bed. those stove pipes could use some finned collars to help dissipate the heat, especially in winter . I have 2 of those camp tables and cant find EITHER!!!With all my moving around the past couple of years things have been misplaced, like a whole large tote of camp gear!! I have that style gas stove I use a propane adapter for, its all in the storm/bugout tote in the back of my daily... I really need to check that now that storm season is on us again
@Doc Ink I have forgot more gear that I have missed placed or lost than I currently own lol. Know all about that. I loved this setup too! Thanks for watching bro
Great video. I like the tarp configuration setup. Lol and apologizing for not capturing the burns on the video. Damn it Spackmann we need to see the ouches. 😂😂
LoL!!!! Thanks Chris! At 2:57! I spit coffee everywhere. You said what?!?🤣🤣🤣 Don't you hate it when your listener's are actually listening? Nice catch though. Love that tarp. Nope! No more new gear for me!!! Well!🤔 Not sure where you are, but you mentioned being allowed to use your stove during a fire restriction. Even a wood stove isn't allowed here, during restrictions on USFS land. I get it, someone could get careless with ashes, but annoying nonetheless. Your pup, Remy. Is that his full name, or short for Remington? One of my granddaughters just got a new dog, Remington. We call her, Remy!🐶 Great job man. Take it easy. Roger
@RkF oh man that part was hilarious lol. It’s not that there is a fire restriction, it just isn’t an actual campsite with a DEC(our forest cops) approved fire pit so I can’t have an open fire. His name is just Remy. Glad you enjoyed bro, thanks for watching
I just purchased the stove with the pellet burner with the large hopper- it’s on its way- I was just wondering what is the width of the chimney stacks I’m going to need more along with 90 degree turns and double wall pipes where going out of tent along with a damper and I would like to get on with it before it gets here- thanks Joe
Sweet setup there bro. I would have gone out this weekend with the hammock or the full tent but we were supposed to have flooding... It never happened so I could have gone out
@Chris ‘CJ’ Jones we were supposed to have thunderstorms all day and night during this trip but never happened. I was hoping for it, didn’t get it lol. Thanks for watching
@@AdventureswithSpackmann I like camping in the rain but if it was going to rain I didn't want to be in just the hammock and tarp, and I didn't want the hassle of drying out that big tent lol
@@AdventureswithSpackmann don't think I'd like being under the trees in a thunderstorm but rain would be cool if it didn't get too cold. Usually when it rains here it gets really cold fast, like below 10c
I like the tarp set up. What tarp is that? Do you have a video about it? The water flowing sounded nice. I want a stove but it has to be light, have windows and affordable. It's tough to find that combo. Thanks for the video.
@mushercdn the tarp is the canvas hammock hot tent from pomoly. It’s essentially just a 14x14 tarp with a stove jack that can be setup as a hammock hot tent. I have it in a ton of videos. Only two videos that I use it as a tarp. Pomoly Traveller stove is kinda on the cheaper side of titanium with windows but it doesn’t fold down. I feel it burns wood rather quick too. Thanks for watching
@Phillip Wingo been using the cot for over a year now and have no issues with it. Quick setup, low profile, cheap. I’m a smaller guy but it has served me well. Thanks for watching
Yeah broski that set up looked awesome. I am not personaly a fan of the tarp camping mainly sounds like a bug nightmare BUT it looked cozy af!! Glad your staying safe from the bears and I hope you have some protection. Cant waste the buzz because of a bear haha Anyways great video keep em up!
@Snarfimus bugs were bad AF bro lol. I had a bug net on my head for sleeping so that was good but the morning mosquitos were insane. I really enjoy a tarp setup but they are best for early spring and late fall when there are no bugs lol. Thanks for watching bro
Hey Spack! I love watching the vids but I’m always curious how you afford these things in your vids while also having your family. What do you do for work that lets you afford all that?
@JP Forcino so glad you enjoy the videos! I am blessed with a job as a software engineer and also blessed with the videos. They are starting to help which is so cool. I go without alot to save for my gear. No lunches out at work, less every day spending that isn’t necessary. And then companies send me stuff to feed my addiction lol. Also I waste way too much money on camping stuff. Don’t follow my lead lol. Thanks for watching
I haven’t used it enough to tell you how it would hold up over extended use. I can say the none stainless version of this stove I’ve used heavily and it’s still holding. Thanks for watching.
@@papaoctopus lmao now I’m reading it like the little mermaid song, “I want to be where the people are” “nobody camps like SPACKMANN” just with less syllables lol. Thanks for watching bro and for getting the song stuck in my head
