Hey guys and welcome to todays video.. so what do you think to eye creams, do you use one in your routine, let me know in the comments below.. love you all x
I actually do use an eye cream. In the morning, I use caffeine and immediately follow that with my eye cream. I've been doing this for approximately 2 years. When I get lazy, my skin lets me know.
👍 I have the BoJ, Mary&May, and the Ordinary eye treatments. I alternate them because I don't want to cause any issues by combining incompatible chemicals.
Using (following your advice) both the ordinary peptide serum and the torriden one. I’m seeing actual results and I will keep using them religiously 😁 I will order the Mary & May one soon! Thank you as always!!!!! ❤
Great video! Your reviews are always so informative and concise. It was just winter in Australia and I’ve been loving Allies of Skin for my under eye because it keeps that area super hydrated. Now that it’s spring, I’ve moved on to the Beauty of Joseon - such a pleasure to apply. In summer I love gel products, and the Tocobo under eye would be perfect for those hot days.
I need to use different eye cream for upper eyelids and for under the eyes. 2 different issues. Hard to find affordable upper eyelid cream. At my age 52, eye creams are absolutely a necessity.
I use eye cream .. Torriden Cellmazing forming eye cream and also the wonderful TirTir Collagen lifting eye cream ♥️with vegetable collagen and 5 multipeptides - I also use the cream Adipou under my eyes .. it goes perfectly with Cellmazing (that is quite thick and Adipou helps the absorption I think ) and TirTir Collagen lifting eye cream is amazing and has a beautiful packaging too .. I also use Herbalife Skin line minimizing serum on my eyes .. very good serum .. but my favorite creams for the eyes are the TirTir lifting eye cream, Torriden Cellmazing eye cream and the face cream Adipou that is amazing for all face and neck (they say that it helps restore the fat pads..
I was watching this while doing my nighttime routine, and was literally putting on that Beauty of Joseon cream for the first time as it arrived today! 😂 And wow, a little goes a long way! I've used an eye cream with caffeine in the morning. It feels nice, and giving the eye area some love is a good way to wake up, but I'm not sure how effective it's been. These are my first dedicated eye creams, so naturally I haven't made up my mind yet.
👍🏽I have sensitive eyes. I'm sure using regular moisturizer is great for those without sensitive skin or eyes, but I will continue to use creams that are made for the eyes.
Yay I am so so happy its working so well for you hun and its Jan and Amy who put me onto it lol.. How are you hun? Tom said you might not be feeling too great so I have been thinking of you and sending lots of virtual hugs xx
I have multiple eye products & love them all. BOJ / AXIS-Y / The Inkey List - Caffeine Cream / Torriden - Cellmazing. They are all fantastic & I use them depending on what I need that day 😁
👍 I love eye cream and use it every day and evening. I prefer 1 or 2 serums for the eyes and then extra 1 or 2 eye creams. 😂Thank you so much for your great videos. I love your channel.❤ Keep it up. Best wishes from Germany.🙋♀️
Ordered the BOJ llast month & love it . I have extremely sensitive skin. I just ordered Medik8 3 sensitive. I know it’s a good brand. Pray I can tolerate it. Thanks Rob.🩷🩷🩷
👍 I thought eye creams were just moisturisers until I tried the AHC TEN revolution real eye cream for face. I love it! I'd like to try the torriden one to compare them. Thanks for the video!
I’m almost sixty and now use an eye cream at night and also daytime in winter. In summer, not in the morning as I’m less dry and typically use a hydrating sunscreen anyway. In winter though, both my day and night creams are thicker and I don’t like that under my eyes or on eyelids, so do use an eye cream in addition to serums and sunscreen. Also, I don’t put tretinoin on my eyes, so like a milder form of retinoid in an eye cream at night no matter the season. I like the Beauty Pie retinol eye cream and OneSkin.
👎 I use the ordinary matrixol around my eyes. I have dry eyes so anything with a retinoid in it is a big no but I needed something to build collagen, hooded eyes and crapy skin. It has absolutely done the trick. Less than six months down the track and almost all the texture is gone and the hooded eyes are 80% better. I considered the buffet and copper peptides but they both contained argiraline and I didn't want that on my eyelids as it relaxes muscles. It's cheap, incredibly effective and very gentle on the eyes. Love it. E
👍 I was using the DRMTGLY HPR eye cream but I have serious eye allergies and it makes my eyes itch. So I am repurposing it as a neck and décolleté retinoid treatment at night. My next purchase will probably be One Skin OS peptide eye cream because I am 40 and Medik8 crystal retinal for a few times a week.
Hiya Rob, thanks for the video, great as always. Been living with Long Covid for 3 and half years now with additional bouts and all sorts of complications. So the one thing that bothers me the most is the terrible dark rings under my eyes . I recently discovered something really effective in a gift set that was sent to me and that is eye masks with Matrixyl by Skin Republic. It made such a difference even after one use 🥰 so am going to be on the lookout for that ingredient. Take care nd gave Leo a cheek tickle 😽
Oh well you know I am going to have to check those out now lol so thank you so much for the recommendation.. sending you so much love and Leo sends his love too.. xx
Hi Rob! First I would like to mention the Abib collagen eye cream ,great ingredient list!I love you're content, because of you I have discovered great anti aging products for under eyes and face and I have learned to read an ingredient list .Now I can not be fooled by the marketing..The market is full of overpriced products with low quality ingredients .Thank you❤
👍🏻I always use two eye treatment, one in the morning and one on the night: Medik 8 retinal eye, K Secret patches (thans to your advice), Paula's Choice C5 Super Boost Eye Cream, Mary & May are my fav at the moment 👀Wishing you a wonderful evening Ciao Rob! 😊
I was feeling down and as soon as I saw your video it lifted my spirit!! I like an eye cream. What do you think of alcohol denat in an eye cream? Is it really that bad? Lancôme has a sale on right now and I wants to check it out. But their eye creams all contain alcohol denat Thank youuu!
Oh I am so happy to hear the video brought a smile to your face and sorry to hear you are feeling down so sending you lots of hugs.. I dont mind a little alcohol so long as the other ingredients alongside it have great moisturising properties.. love x
I will try the Mary and May. Paula's Choice has a face cream w those two ingredients. but I find it tends to leave halo spots. Dr Denesse has a soy based eye cream that is great for the upper eye lids
Love love love your vids! Thank you for all your coin inclusive products! I'm 34 and am really struggling with breakouts and texture/I think millia on my forehead, can we do an anti aging/breakout helpful video?? Hope that's not too cheeky?! Thanks for staying you ❤x
Haha I dont know a shiny forehead is a good thing lol.. I have always had a smoother forehead and the shine comes from some glow up skincare I have been using recently which I covered in a more recent video.. hope this helps and thanks for watching x
👍 I have multiples in my routine so I can swap them out depending on how I feel. Mornings are usually Kopari Niacinamide and Caffeine Eye Bright Cream or Nutricentials Eye Live Bright Eyes, or Fenty Skin’s Thicc N Smooth Rich Peptide Eye Cream. In the evenings, it is usually The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Eye Serum, but some nights I will use the Fenty instead, or Byroe’s Rose Tea Eye Cream, or the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum (usually on the nights I am doing tretinoin) Even as I was watching so many people say they were unnecessary or overpriced moisturizers, I still kept using them because I love the feel.
👍🏻 in my early twenties I def agreed that eye cream is just moisturizer but since approaching my thirties and after 10 years of smoking the fine lines start to show. This is why I am here. Also eyecream is a bit of a gimik to take extra care of my under eyes 😂
TO multi peptide/Mary and May in the morning and Niod/Torriden in the evening. On your recent morning skincare routine your under eye looked amazing! Ooo and the Sukoyaka Suchada urea eye cream when I’m particularly dry!
Oh thank yo use much hun and I have you and Amy to thank for getting me into the Mary & May eye cream and honestly its one of the best for sure :) - its stormy and super dark here in the UK so hope your having some nicer weather over there :) love xxxx
For some reason a lot of moisturizers and eye creams sting the skin around my eyes, all the way down to the tops of my cheek bones. So when I found a moisturizer that doesn’t do that (Goodal’s Vegan Rice Milk cream), I adopted it as an eye cream. I’ll probably use it as an eye cream even I stop using it as an all-over moisturizer.
I agree hun I know a lot of people who fond products sting around the eyes so you are not alone.. I will check out that recommendation.. Hope all is wonderful with you xx
I have been using the Beauty of Joseon and enjoy the texture. I’m sure I would see more results if I could remember to use it more regularly 😂 but I love applying it before I apply my Rx tretinoin almost as a barrier cream since I use a high concentration on the rest of my face. That way I’m giving my eye area a dose of retinal while avoiding damaging the delicate skin in that area.
I love eye products I have always used eye creams but was looking to try a different one and I'm about to order the Allies advanced peptides, lip balm and the amino cleanser and was thinking maybe the eye cream but was looking into it before I pushed purchase sense it's pricey and I just bought the Frac eye serum . I usually love my K beauty eye creams but tan out and I'm using the Biosionse eye cream because I still had it as a back up in my collection that i got in a set with the CP serum and the Algenist eye balm . I really like the Benton peptide eye cream and the Dear Klairs butter one O also the Cosrx snail one all affordable. I use the Niod CP and the Medick8 low dose retinol 1 I use on my face under my eyes and pretty much everything else I use especially the GG peptides serum.
👍I have been using the Dr Sam Flawless Intense around my eyes to help with irritation and dryness which is super soothing, but not sure if it would help with anything anti ageing. Your suggestions look fab and I can't wait to try some of them. Re: the Torriden eye cream - that is retinol isn't it? So' I'm thinking this should be only a night time cream? BTW I think the Allies of Skin is out of stock - not that I could afford it 🤣 Thanks for a really interesting video packed with fab product ideas ❤
👍🏼 I have to use an eye cream. I have bags so I have no choice but to try and find a good product that works. During the day I’ve landed on the ordinary peptide eye serum, along with the aloe + NAG solution. I put on a product called CËLYN, which is essentially the same thing as the Peter Thomas Roth Firmx eye tightener, except I like Celyn better. I just don’t know what I’m going to do when I run out bc CËLYN is hard to find and the last purchase I made was clearly a fake, so, Peter Thomas Roth it is going forward. I use the Joseon Revive and the Torriden Cellmazing, both of them, and I feel like I’m happy with what they’re doing this far, but I’m considering replacing the Torriden with the Allies of Skin just to get faster results. I just don’t know where I’d put it in. Y routine. Day? Please advise, Robert. This is a tough hobby to really land on a routine where something won’t get discontinued or reformulated from what you ended up loving. Very frustrating at times, but Intrust your advise as this far nice gotten quite far with your suggestions, so thank you!
Haha I hate the price of it but I love the results.. a little goes a long way so you dont need to use much so it will last a while.. keep us posted on the results.. love x
which do you reccomend for anti aging AND dark circles to be fair I don't know if I really have dark circles, it's more of a discoloration especially because of the fine skin showing veins
I have completely made a u- turn myself regarding eye creams, gone are the days where they are just glorified moisturisers. I thinks it’s great gentle retinoids are available I love the BoJ one, and use Paula’s Choice Vit C in the AM. It allows me to use actives in a super gentle formulas. Also most K beauty already sell 30ml serums so they last for months! Also I wanted to try the Torriden one but I can’t find on yesstyle and stylevana 😢
I love using an eye serum/cream in my routine, but not 100% convinced that it's necessary. Does anyone else suffer from puffiness around the eyes due to sinus congestion. I already do lymphatic drainage daily, but any recommendations would be highly appreciated. ❤ L
The skin under my eyes is quite hollowed out and prone to darkness (of both shadowed lighting and pigmentation). I've been using BOJ revive retinal eye cream at night for the better part of a year to some great results for those newly developing fine lines and crow's feet as I've entered my 30's, while in the morning I've been using the Ordinary's caffeine eye cream to combat the dark circles. Though I may eventually graduate up from BOJ, I'm quite happy with its performance. It's my morning eye cream that I'm thinking could pack a greater punch. I would like to nourish my eyes, rather than feel like I'm masking them with the caffeine, though it performs well in the moment. I still apply some generic eye color concealer during my makeup routine after to account for their darkness. I would love to really counter that sunken, dark appearance that is so obviously a genetic trait in my family. Thank you for sharing your recommendations, Rob. ❤️
I’ve dm you on instagram Wanted to ask you what you thought of The green tomato serum I can’t remember who it’s by it’s an antioxidant serum was thinking of giving it a try❤
*Beauty Of Joseon Revive Eye Cream* and *Medik8 Crystal Retinal Ceramide Eye Cream* - "use both in the evening" ...do you mean both products nightly, or choose one or the other ?
Rob I have the Allies of skin, medik8 etc but as a milia suffer I have been using alpha H absolute eye complex in the morning for exfoliation with my Evenskyn Venus for exfoliating , when all soaked in I use NIOD FECC THEN Allies of skin , at night I’m giving medik8 a miss while I’m using Dr Sam Nightly also a AHA and the milia are better after a few weeks. I am also trialing Sesderma Vit K for dark circles and all pretty amazing So you could call me a tryer
Haha I love a tryer so thank you so much for sharing your experiences.. I love all the ones you mention and your right being milia prone you have to be so careful with the eye creams you go for.. love x
I’m getting no results from using BOJ revive eye cream and I also use G&G A game 10 under the eyes aswell. Am I using to much retinal and hence making results worse?
@@MadAboutSkin I thought my progress had stopped as I was on a good roll with G&G untill I switched so I will go back to that all over the face again. Thankyou for your reply x
Ok, what's happening with Stylevana?? Not a single Torriden product on their website! It's been like this for ages. Does anyone know if they've just stopped stocking it?
It will be coming back in the next month, its to do with contracts and low stock as they have gone viral bu they should have stock levels sorted in the next month.. love x
@MadAboutSkin ahhh....thank you so much for letting me know!!! I wanted to try it when you uploaded the review about your mother trying it!! But I kept procrastinating about whether to buy it. Serves me right for not going with my instinct! X
Hey guys and welcome to todays video.. so what do you think to eye creams, do you use one in your routine, let me know in the comments below.. love you all x
I don’t use eye creams. I just use all my skincare around my eyes including 0.025% Tretinoin (2 x 3 x a week) and retinal (on the other nights).
I'm not consistent with eye creams. I have the Facetheory Pro and Nicor firming eye cream. Neither give dramatic effects....😢
I use the $6 good molecule gel eye cream, I love it more then my $32 eye cream
I actually do use an eye cream. In the morning, I use caffeine and immediately follow that with my eye cream. I've been doing this for approximately 2 years. When I get lazy, my skin lets me know.
❤ I use them since 2020. I have BOJ with retinal for the evening. During the day I use AHC 10 something with a very long name.
Oh I forgot about the AHC your right its a great option too.. love xx
BoJ revive absorbs so well and never stings my sensitive eyes!
I agree its such a great option for those with sensitive eyes.. love x
Can you still say that you have something under your eyes applied? My point is that i dont want it to be visible that i have applied whatever it is 😅
👍 I have the BoJ, Mary&May, and the Ordinary eye treatments. I alternate them because I don't want to cause any issues by combining incompatible chemicals.
I love the idea of alternating those ones I bet they give some great results.. love x
👍 i’ve been consistent with FECC for the last 3 years. I’m very happy with it.
I love the FECC Scott- I didnt order enough in the last November sale so ran out in April lol but will be stocking up again this November.. love xx
Using (following your advice) both the ordinary peptide serum and the torriden one. I’m seeing actual results and I will keep using them religiously 😁 I will order the Mary & May one soon! Thank you as always!!!!! ❤

Do you have sunken eyes? Wondering they will work for hollow eyes.
@@Curiouscreator2 hooded eyes, not sunken. 52 years old
@@Tatytaty393 I do have hooded eyelids so perhaps I could try on the eyelids. Is that what u meant?

👍love The Ordinary one x
Same here hun, the price point is great xx
For some reason a lot of moisturizers and eye creams sting the skin around my eyes, all the way down to the tops of my cheek bones. So when I found a moisturizer that doesn’t do that (Goodal’s Vegan Rice Milk cream), I adopted it as an eye cream. I’ll probably use it as an eye cream even I stop using it as an all-over moisturizer.
I agree hun I know a lot of people who fond products sting around the eyes so you are not alone.. I will check out that recommendation.. Hope all is wonderful with you xx
all the way 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you hun and I agree.. love xxxxx
👍 i like to nourish my eye area with richer/heavier creams that i wouldn’t necessarily use on my overall oily/acne prone face
I think this is a great approach.. thank you so much for sharing.. love x
Hey hun, how are you? I agree I think its a great option as an add on for those delicate areas lol.. Sending you so so much love x
I do use eye cream ❤ I’m looking for a new brand to try, using a mix of the ordinary and caudalie xx
Oh which Caudalie one do you use as I dont have much experience with the brand but have heard good things.. love x
@@MadAboutSkin Resveratrol-lift rob xx
BTW I think the Allies of Skin is out of stock - not that I could afford it 🤣
Thanks for a really interesting video packed with fab product ideas ❤
I have used NIOD FECC for a few years and then my normal moisturiser. What are your thoughts compared to the allies one x
I love both the same bu have run out of FECC - I will be stocking up in November sale for sure lol.. Hope all is wonderful with you hun x
@@MadAboutSkin when the allies one comes back in I will give it a try x
@@FionaBarronJMDI found that the allies eye product almost burned when I used it. Hope you have better success with it!
@@tthibideau thanks Tom x

Okay Rob I will buy the mary&may one with the next yesstyle order. Let's see how it fares against the final boss - my undereyes 😂
Haha you wont be disappointed lol... Amy put me onto it and it is so so nice on the skin.. love you x

Team Eye Cream for the win :)
👋 I'm 50/50 ! I add extra Peptide Serum around my eyes . I can tolerate my tret formula quite close to my eyes . 😊
Hope all is wonderful with you John.. sending love x
@MadAboutSkin all is well thanks, I hope you're all settling in OK? I can't wait to try the numbuzin 5+ serum but have some dermatica vitc left . ❤😊
hi sweetie do you like medik8 cosmetic? I love them :)
Love it I think they are a great brand x
Does it make sense to layer something like the Ordinary peptide with another cream that targets hyperpigmentation?
Oh yes I think that could be a good option.. love x
Haruharu eye cream ❤
Great option I love that one so much x
👍 Have just bought the Medik8 one as at 57 I need help 😂 Fingers crossed for it making a difference (even a small one) x
Haha I hate the price of it but I love the results.. a little goes a long way so you dont need to use much so it will last a while.. keep us posted on the results.. love x
which do you reccomend for anti aging AND dark circles
to be fair I don't know if I really have dark circles, it's more of a discoloration especially because of the fine skin showing veins
I am the same as you and have been on the same journey.. apparently the torriden one will be back in the next month, I am crossing my fingers.. love x
I love using an eye serum/cream in my routine, but not 100% convinced that it's necessary. Does anyone else suffer from puffiness around the eyes due to sinus congestion. I already do lymphatic drainage daily, but any recommendations would be highly appreciated. ❤ L
can you use them on your eyelid to or is that a no go
Hi hun, yes you can use most of these on your eyelid but just be careful and watch for any irritation.. ,love x
@@MadAboutSkin wow you answered first thank you so much. I really appreciate it when a creator takes care of their community.
I didn’t know Medik8 did a retinal for eye. I used to like the crystal retinal for face before tretinoin, so may check that out.
They do and its great, really well formulated like the main retinal.. Love x
👍 the NIOD one
I agree NIOD FEEC works the best for me too.
Such a great option and I will be stocking up in the NOV sale.. love x
Only 2 months until the sale lol - I will be buying for sure xx
Good for people who wear makeup. Eye cream should hopefully be thinner and less likelihood of pilling under makeup
I agree hun.. Hope all is wonderful with you.. love x
Can you do a video on Volufiline for under eyes please. Theres not a lot of options.
Thank you so much for the video suggestion.. love x
👍 for me... Use Torriden and boots ones
Oh which boots one? love x
Has the Allies of skin surpassed the Niod eye serum ?
Oh its a difficult one. I love both but I think I will be stocking up on the NIOD one in the november sale for sure.. love x
I’ve dm you on instagram
Wanted to ask you what you thought of The green tomato serum I can’t remember who it’s by it’s an antioxidant serum was thinking of giving it a try❤
Oh I know the one... I havnt tried but I like the look of the ingredients list and might be tempted to give it a try.. love x
*Beauty Of Joseon Revive Eye Cream* and *Medik8 Crystal Retinal Ceramide Eye Cream* - "use both in the evening" ...do you mean both products nightly, or choose one or the other ?
I think he means choose one or the other as they both have retinal in them which is best used at night😊

I have the Allies of skin, medik8 etc but as a milia suffer I have been using alpha H absolute eye complex in the morning for exfoliation with my Evenskyn Venus for exfoliating , when all soaked in I use NIOD FECC THEN Allies of skin , at night I’m giving medik8 a miss while I’m using Dr Sam Nightly also a AHA and the milia are better after a few weeks. I am also trialing Sesderma Vit K for dark circles and all pretty amazing
So you could call me a tryer
Haha I love a tryer so thank you so much for sharing your experiences.. I love all the ones you mention and your right being milia prone you have to be so careful with the eye creams you go for.. love x
I think that Alpha h one and the dr sams are exfoliating and the but k and allies are great
I have Adipeau on order
👍👍👍day and night

👍 Mary&May also Niod x
Love NIODF I will be stocking up in the November sale for sure lol.. love x
I’m getting no results from using BOJ revive eye cream and I also use G&G A game 10 under the eyes aswell. Am I using to much retinal and hence making results worse?
I would keep to the G&G one as I think this would give you the best overall results and minimise irritation.. love x
@@MadAboutSkin I thought my progress had stopped as I was on a good roll with G&G untill I switched so I will go back to that all over the face again.
Thankyou for your reply x
Sana soy milk eye cream is a must.
Oh I will have to check that one out.. love x
Ok, what's happening with Stylevana?? Not a single Torriden product on their website! It's been like this for ages. Does anyone know if they've just stopped stocking it?
It will be coming back in the next month, its to do with contracts and low stock as they have gone viral bu they should have stock levels sorted in the next month.. love x

I wanted to try it when you uploaded the review about your mother trying it!! But I kept procrastinating about whether to buy it. Serves me right for not going with my instinct! X
