Been subbed to you since you got the Focus, as I happend to get mine at the same time (well, july), so was looking at ways to mod potentially and work on it myself, stuff like that. Loving the content you have made since so keep it up! I also agree that there is something about these cars that just make you smile, no matter what stage its in. I enjoyed mine as stock (with just some light cosmetic changes and maintenance) until early this year where I went with a bluefin stage1 I had waiting around for a while (as was waiting on insurance). Really highlighted that the car really should have come with at least 260 stock as it's so much more livelier now. Had a go in one making around 300 a fair few months back now, so I can defo see where your coming from with savage, 260 is fairly tame in comparrison haha. Fitted a revo rear engine mount the other week, installed the almost obligatory Pro Ram Air group A intake and I've got some bilstien b12s and other suspension parts to fit when I get chance. So fair to say the mods have offically started. Not got an intercooler or plenum yet and will defo need an uprated clutch, might wait till I have the money to go with the M-factory or Quaife diff now too. Was always an Idea, as it saves labour costs, but I think you've just helped sell it!
Bro this was a long one haha. So glad your getting further into the mods. You won’t regret it. I love feeling the differences with all the individual updates haha. I’ve driven some v powerful ones and I can’t wait to go rs turbo and full forged. Then I’ll be happier ,) what’s the spec on yours now?
@@GCMYT Ha! Yea sometimes I do go on... Mines a Performance blue 58 plate Facelift St2 but randomly came factory fitted with the recaro cloth heated seats. Fitted auto headlights myself (after a few forum reads) as it had the loom in place already, just needed change the switch and put in auto wipers sensor and auto dim rear mirror. Most of the last year or so has been spent just getting the car into a decent state (missing bolts/trim and undertrays etc), the mechanics were fine at the time, paint work is pretty dire though haha. Installed the factory DAB stereo the other month, dont really need an android system and it was going cheap anyways with the wires etc (ebay!). Think I'm running around 260 atm with the bluefin stg1 but not had it dyno'd, so might find somewhere to see what it's doing. That said, might need a clutch first... One day, fully reforged and Rs turbo... not anytime soon for me though!
Never understand anyone swapping a airbag wheel for aftermarket rubbish. I’ve owned Subarus evo tts cosworth and I’d never do that as it’s simply idiotic…
Like the Pov style G, great to see how much you still enjoy your car leaning towards the revo stage 2 now couldn’t decide how to go with before, keep them coming bud🤘🏼
So what was the cause of the smoke in your last video?? Don’t have to annoy neighbours with cold starts anymore as it seems to have been mapped out on MOD XRS V2😎
Guys I haven’t done my videos on the diff I got installed by BD PERFORMANCE ( Darren) north Wales. Amazing!!!! Not only did they install the RS clutch along side lsd block mod engine mount and a few other things. I couldn’t believe the drive back to London. I done a full tank and a half of fuel up there and done 3/4 when coming back home.. I’m only stage 1 but hoping to jump to stage 3 in the next few weeks.. however get the lsd done by BD PERFORMANCE because they have transformed the whole car in my opinion.. with the £2500 £1500 cash £1000 finance. £250 per month 4 payments..
Lighter flywheels will let you accelerate quicker and revs drop off quicker between gear shifts but light flywheels are not recommended for NA vehicle designed for hill climbs as they need that weight and momentum to keep pulling.
Hey sorry! Quick question what is the piece you have on top of the dash in carbon fibre. What’s the piece called and where did you get it from? Mine is completely cracked and missing clips
I dunno about a quick release steering wheel would freak me out that it could release as your driving looks good tho, did the map fix yr engine check light????
Do the M-factory diffs have a trick to keep them locked up if you lift a wheel like the Wavetrac ones? That’s what’s swaying me towards the WT diffs. Natural pops are the way forward, much rather the occasional thump than anything manufactured. Your liners will thank you too. Terrible driving road that 😛 I’m surprised the police don’t practically live there!
nope they dont , wait for poor traction conditions and the difference is evident or even at much higher power levels. m-factory diffs are a level below quaife and wavetrac with their carbon wave plates ontop of the typical lsd internals is a league above quaife
George what do you think defines someone as a car person? Interested to know what you think as I’ve loved cars since I was little and find modifying cars intriguing but have a pretty basic first car and the next car I get I plan to keep standard, and might not necessarily get a drivers car as such. Great vid btw
If you love cars no matter what level or financial position your in then I’d say your a car guy/girl! The key is to be prepared to learn. It’s not about being a mechanic, it’s about trying. I’m my sence I know small amounts but guess what. I’m willing to learn! :) I’m sure your the same. Hope this helps
Quaife have a long history in motorsports so you cant go wrong with them to be honest. The other brands I'm not familiar with but they are clearly doing something right going by the reviews.
Really like the video but between 6m and 8m when you adjusted the go pro I weirdly started to feel motion sick from where you could barely see the road haha
Fitted polerparts one before driver side (UK) 20mph-50mph vibrations awful drive shaft nothing beats original for them purposes but I really don’t think there is quality uprated shafts about. Just refurbed original
You keep making me add to my never ending mods list 🙈
Im spanish and i have focus st mk2 2008 (restyling) with stage 2 (300 cv) its amaaaazing. very nice caAAR

What a great lad, I searched for focus ST's and found a legend. Well put together old chap, enjoyed watching 👍
Never understand anyone swapping a airbag wheel for aftermarket rubbish.
I’ve owned Subarus evo tts cosworth and I’d never do that as it’s simply idiotic…
I pick up my ST on Monday. Cannot wait!
Like the Pov style G, great to see how much you still enjoy your car leaning towards the revo stage 2 now couldn’t decide how to go with before, keep them coming bud🤘🏼
All you can see is the steering wheel
So what was the cause of the smoke in your last video??
Don’t have to annoy neighbours with cold starts anymore as it seems to have been mapped out on MOD XRS V2😎
Because click bait
I have the dream science mod X-RS map and I still have cold start noise lol
Great vid again george just had my dinner feel sick watching that gopro on your head 👍
Your driving it like that with a new diff put in it needs to be ran in first about 500 miles or say by to your gear box
St is something else mate sick vid !

Sounding good and looking good.

What fuel do you use im gonna say you put shell V-Power in it would be interesting to know
Love the st man! Alot going on in your cockpit hahaha

Sounds Ace G, only get 16Mpg out of my ST 225 :( topvid
Worth installing this on the RS upgraded clutch kit ?
Whats your honest opinion on the Revo stage 2 I'm still trying to justify the price but like having the safty of the brand.
So smooth and feels amazing! Very subtle yet sleeper ish
Probably got to do with the light Wight fly wheel and being like more Refine Balance
Hi, what were the deciding factors to go from the custom bevo map to the revo map? How does the car feel in comparison?
Are we allowed to remove airbag from steering wheel?
I dunno about a quick release steering wheel would freak me out that it could release as your driving looks good tho, did the map fix yr engine check light????
I get the same vibe to Gary. I’m looking into the safety of these devices.
good content
Do you have a link for the stereo replacement panel ?

Natural pops are the way forward, much rather the occasional thump than anything manufactured. Your liners will thank you too.
Terrible driving road that 😛 I’m surprised the police don’t practically live there!
Yes mate agreed! I’m unsure Tbf however it made a shed lot of difference.
nope they dont , wait for poor traction conditions and the difference is evident or even at much higher power levels. m-factory diffs are a level below quaife and wavetrac with their carbon wave plates ontop of the typical lsd internals is a league above quaife
If you think the diff is good now ... wait till you take it through some tight twisty mountain roads ... :P

Why did I watch 15 mins of a Gotham steering wheel in action ? 😁
How is the RTS clutch ?? Im looking for the same clutch but wanted to know if its any good
It’s amazing mate. Feels so good and so soft on the peddle too
Your car is looking cleannn 😍😅 where did you buy the carbon insert that covers your dash and gauges? I’ve searched everywhere 🥲
I got the original hydro dipped dude :)
@@GCMYT so that’s why I cannot find it anywhere! Sorry I’m going to have to copy 😬 looks perfect 👌🏼
I cant cold start mine anymore other than weekends 😂 lucky I have a daily.
I took the resonator (silencer) out of my KMS Section 18
George Do you go to the same hairdresser as Boris Johnson! OW YER!
Banger 🔥🥵🤤🤣
Come to spain , in Mallorca my friend!🤙
how r u gettin so much mileage per tank? mine sez 217 miles to empty :S lol
I want to swap my fiesta st stage for a focus.
How much are the m factory diffs? They got the quaife ones on eBay for £870 any idea which is the better one?
How would George answer that? He don’t pay for anything...😂😂
Apologies for that my dude. I’m learning in regards to the go pro!
@@GCMYT no worries I still watched the whole video, good content as always. Was just a tip / heads up kind of thing ;-)
I have a quaife LSD ready to fit in mine.
They make so much difference.
I have the quaife in mine. It will pull you through corners instead of pushing. My driveshaft phobia doesn't let me use it as much as I should.
Well it's gone in to have the LSD fitted.
Yes I have s7 driveshafts but they are shot. I had the car sitting too low and it knackered them.
@@rossbossst8217 I'm actually running ones from euro car parts with not much bother. I raised my car back to standard after I killed my second set.
25.9 is good MPG man, I get like 15 mpg from mine lol
When is stage 4 coming?
14:20 you want to be stuffing it into there and tell us how the diff is helping. ))
YO! Why do people hate cold starts in these cars?
Aha tiktok the place where in the comments every one is a technical f1 pit mechanic 🤣 I’m pretty sure Iv seen your channel on tiktok 🤔
Yh my dads got one but the engine blew up
Can you get uprated driveshafts for STs?
Yes you can. But no real proof they are much better!?
@@GCMYT I fitted a £100 set from JR driveshafts in January cars my daily (revo2) Over 3k and still holding on 😬
Fitted polerparts one before driver side (UK) 20mph-50mph vibrations awful drive shaft nothing beats original for them purposes but I really don’t think there is quality uprated shafts about. Just refurbed original
Be better if we could see more of the road instead of staring at the steering wheel.
Where’s the fancy car mats and sunstrip?
They are being reworked by me as I want to secure them better as they slip abit. Sunstrip going on soon.
Mine drones very loud lol
with all the money spend you could have just bought a RS
Erm.... why the smoking then? Coolant colour doesn’t look very healthy
I pick up my ST on Monday. Cannot wait!
