    With respect to the king bearings, since there was no damage to the journals or crank, guessing you all used standard size? Also do you find that those bearings are within spec for the 3 variation options for the ford/Volvo factory bearing replacements?

    I have volvo 2.5 in a V70R I am in the process of rebuilding the block is at the machine shop. having a hard time locating pistons for my sleeves. 84mm compared to the stock is83mm. Found some 84 JL Pistons. For the engine block that you’re doing out of a Ford focus. I believe they’re the same exact block.

    Do the main bearing bolts need to be replaced at a hydb/hydc engine? Equivalent b5254T from volvo. Torq spec's are not clear to me for the little block bolts, 24 and 17nm + 90 degrees? Torque spec camshaft cover is not mentioned?

    Absoulty class i am literally about to attempt this on my mk2 mechanical to trade offshore but this is different level I am just wondering if the same process goes for installing uprated forged parts rods pistons and crank shaft etc or is there a complete difference and will they all go together I.e. k1 rods piper cams and like a forged crank shaft or do certain parts only go with certain parts

    Hi, im from brazil and have recently rebuilt my engine. I get no leaks or issues with the pcv valve. Also my oil pump is new but im getting something like 0.8bar oil pressure at idle and 3.0 bar at 4000rpm. According to the manual im a bit off the ideal oil pressure.
    We checked rod bearings and their clearence is within standards.
    What can i check next? Im out of options in my head.

    I have a crazy question! Is it possible to fit an ST HYDA 2,5 liters in a Ford Focus Mk2 which has the 1,6L HWDA engine? If yes, what are the difficulties?

    • @BDPerformanceWrexham
      @BDPerformanceWrexham  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anything is possible with the right amount of parts, money and skill. The question is more of - is it worth the cost? There are a few who have installed HYDA Engines into other models; however the ROI isn't always worth it. against switching out! Hope that this helps, TeamBD

    • @GabrielSorinBeldie
      @GabrielSorinBeldie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BDPerformanceWrexham Indeed... ROI will be most negative. Then perhaps worth building the engine and deciding about the car later?
