- In this video I show you my Mercedes W202 M104 turbo build. Power and torque get measured at a dyno and also some acceleration times from 100-200 kph will be tested out. Also some driving footage can be seen.

Wow! Nice build
Sounds great!
Also interesting to hear about your setup for this engine. Injectors, coils, sparks. Are you using OG fuel rail and fuel regulator?
Hello, one question if you don’t mind, i saw that you had baldur ECU in it and i just wondering does he have complete hardness for m104? And also is that ecu completely customisable? I mean did you got any kind of program that you can adjust fuel map?
Thanks
Such a clean install! Are you using an off the shelf manifold?
Lovely build, just looks like a stock Esprit.
I don't understand the dyno results, max 480BHP @ crank and 450BHP @ wheels? If you allow a minimum of 15% drivetrain loss that would be 408bhp @ wheels. Looking forward to the next video.
Great job! Was it my imagination, or are you starting in second gear? I myself am looking for a Mercedes manual transmission with a long first gear. Do you know such a model?
Excellent video and very informative! thanks very much. I am looking to turbo my 1995 C36. Did you replace the stock ECU or do an add-on ECU for the tuning? Which M104 engine is this? 2.8L? thank you and amazing results!
Hi, it's the 2,8l with standalone ecu
@@CZSMotorsport thank you. will you provide more details and perhaps offer a m104 turbo kit?
@@yellowjoe.2000 yes I am working on it but a lot of suspension parts have the priority at the moment
@CZSMotorsport totally understand..i will patiently wait
Cool, macht Kai davon auch ein Video auf seinem Kanal?
Why so low rev limit? I heard a lot of stories that engines hold up to 8500 RPM. Is it just a safe setup or do you have some practical reasons to leave it under 7000.
Because of the relatively small exhaust gas housing and turbo, it would be possible to overspeed it. Just wanted to stay safe. With the bigger housing I think it will be safe to go above 7000
Does the bolt pattern of the 716.654 fit the bolt pattern of any M104?
Yes
What transmission are you running with this kind of torque level? An MB gearbox or a BMW ZF gerbox?
I'm looking to manual swap my W124 300E and turbo it, and I'd love to keep it all Mercedes, with the iconic dogleg reverse gear, but IDK if the boxes can hold up to abuse like that. What are your thoughts/experiences?
MB 6speed gearbox from w204
@@CZSMotorsport Awesome, thank you. It holds up well, I assume?
@@someguy4576 yes those gearboxes are bullet proof
@@CZSMotorsport Awesome, thanks!
Hello from Greece what engine is this ??
mercedes benz m104

@@KonPepo7 Google is free. Smallest M104 is 2800cc
It Looks like the camswitch is not working? Is this on purpose?
It is working but still too early. You see the small wave at 5100 rpm. The best point with this short runner intake would be around 5300rpm
@@CZSMotorsportso you switch it on at around 1000(?) and off at 5100. Cant see it on the Diagramm. Do you run 10:1 compression?
@@konradnee844 on at around 1600, off at around 5000
