The Finals is honestly one of the most fun and refreshing FPS games in the past few years. I'm sure I'll be dumping 100's of hours into it

one of the first fps games where i dont feel like i need to get anything for the game just to have fun, its refreshing to use anything really in the class setups. the battlepass is alright so far and the store skins and stuff are really cool. the gameplay is really smooth and gives you a ton of options on how you wanna go in terms of fighting. love the vibes the finals gives off while in game!
This game is the most fun I had on an FPS since Apex's season 0 release

Could you do a guide video on how to think about gunfights and how to play the game? With light every gun fight is guerrilla warfare and it would be interesting to see you analyze some of your engagements and explain your thought process. Also do an ability tier list. I would love to see that.

Sit invisible until you can guarantee a stun on an unexpecting target while hes fighting another team. Rat it up and 3rd party every chance you get, if someone catches you out or threatens to outplay you just press q again for a get out of jail free card on cooldown as theres currently no counterplay, if everything fails equip the gadget that enables you to go invisible for even longer and sit in it until a kill literally presents itself to you on a silver platter

it seems counterproductive to use vanish grenade with invisibility, as i’ve noticed that while invisibility isn’t on full charge, the recharge pauses when you use the grenade (i’m assuming this is a general invisibility mechanic).
invisibility breaks whenever you grab something, use an item or shoot. following this, for a split second you become visible when throwing your vanish grenade, thus disabling your gadget, but holding its recharge hostage. you don’t benefit from running invis gadget + grenade, you hinder yourself
It's to increase the time you stay invisible. I really don't get how your thought process leads you to think that is counter-productive for yourself despite you laying it all out here.
Even if you have to start fighting right after using a vanish grenade it won't be a waste since your invisibility ability will have to take less time to recharge fully.
Absolutely flawless playing here. Just utilizing cloaking and good movement just like it should be.

Light absolutely does not need any buffs. This game is pretty much balanced in terms of what all the 3 classes can do.
I dunno, it feels like Light might be ever so slightly too strong in terms of it's kit
heavy needs something tweaked for sure. Running mesh shield and bubble with 2 heavies and a medium is crazy. One sledge, one lmg, constant heals. A force to reckon with lmao

try playing with any other part of light's arsenal, you'll see what I mean.
I recommend dash and dagger, for the true respawn screen experience. (you can bring the invis bomb though, if you'd like)

Light should be the most challenging class to use. Shouldn’t be buffed but maybe some of the crappier light weapons
here's my take.
185 HP
remove the stealth nerf on the knife where you can't hold the backstab.
then light will be in a perfect spot. You'll still get melted by sustained fire, you just won't get 1-shot by literally everything.
The cloak seems so OP
I run the same exact loadout except breach charge instead of glitch nade
I hear a lot of people claiming to be the #1 light, but the #1 light is obviously my teammate bumshatter who got no kills, no objective, and died 12 times

Easy not to die, when you can't even be seen. Easy to kill when no one can even shoot back, and you can just go behind them and insta kill them and there is nothing they can do about it. It is so broken and stupid.

If you're on cooldown you can buy yourself 4 more seconds of cloak.

I slightly disagree
its close, and pretty decent for release, but the heavy class is not balanced. Currently objectively broken being able to 1 shot every class in the game with shotgun rpg and c4 while simultaneously being insanely tanky. (which is okay its the heavy class but it cannot do as much damage as it does right now)

Light definitely does need a buff. For a casual player it’s super weak compared to heavy or even medium. Realistically it just needs a physical speed buff, also a faster health regen would be great as well. The light just dies insanely quick and pretty easily is one shotted.
