This is the first game in years Ive been blown away by how well the launch went and how well the game was made. This is a triple A game. Triple A gaming companies can't even do this anymore. Felt like this game had been out for years.
Honestly, I was skeptical because ads always over-exaggerate gameplay but when I played my first game I was like “wow this feels exactly how the ads showed it” 😂
Been pretty smooth on the Xbox platform. We need mouse and keyboard and there are some bugs. But yeah I agree AAA studios should take note.
That’s because the devs are ex dice devs, they are the best devs in gaming industry, this is how it should be every new title for the new console generation, but the gaming industry was overwhelmed with directives that doesn’t know nothing about gaming and they just set profit goals
Triple A devs don't make good games anymore (except for Rockstar). They just make cash grabs.
Multiple betas for an entire year helped the game release more or less bug free and with solid core gameplay, makes you overlook the fact that it only has about 4 maps and 2 game modes.
There's a difference between being "competitive" and being "watchable". The Finals is INCREDIBLY enjoyable to watch because it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. It's for that reason I think the competitive scene will naturally flourish, even though it might not be the best 'test of skill'...people actually want to watch it, and that's the most important thing.
When i play solo, sometimes if im playing with someone who’s really popping off i will legit forget to respawn im so engrossed haaha
@Tangomango1720 bro fr, one of my friends was watching me for like 2 minutes before he respawned and vice versa happens quite a bit. Definitely engages you even when you're off the field
All the "competitive" games right now are a shitshow of braindead utility spam and abusable agent abilities which takes little to no skill.
I think it is definitly a test of skill, it's just that the scope of the skillset is beyond aiming and movement fundamentals. You have to be super intentional about the gadgets you have on hand to counter what's out there, and make strategic decisions on when to capture/steal etc.
Right now the game is young, but once people start optimizing their builds and teams down to the round, map, and map state, it's going to be super competitive.
Everything has a counter, and victory comes down to the team that adapts the fastest

@izzayyyyy_ in most other games with ziplines, the ziplines are pretty much fixed in place
Here, the whole zipline direction and position changed, and ziplines can be placed anywhere, which shows epic coding
things like these make me believe that the devs will do what is best for the game
They nailed the fun factor down to a T. Everything feels so refined and the mechanics are amazing. Got hooked within the first 30 seconds, This game is easily my favorite shooter of the year.
The Finals content is just so fun to watch. Good stuff homie.
I’m just a bit sad how the devs are advertising the game. They just basically don’t and I almost didn’t notice the release cause they weren’t even leaking the release date. I hope they start making yt ads and stuff, I want this game to get big!

What is wrong with you? Not only was the release date rumored and anticipated, they’ve been dropping ads all over the place after it dropped. It’s on the FRONT PAGE of Steam. It’s literally the banner for Nvidia driver updates right now. It’s the #1 most trending game on Steam and TH-cam, consistently top 5 most played on Steam alone, and before it dropped they had streamers and content creators record early access video and drop them, hyping up the game and pulling huge views
@@arcanum3882 not only that, they announced the game dropping at the game awards which is the biggest gaming event show there is.
Its heavily advertise on twitch adds and steam plus theres no need to have a large add campaign when theres half a million players all day and its the 3rd most played steam game .
Absolutely loving this game! Don’t really have a consistent group to play with sadly, and it’s rough playing solo

how do you think the shotgun and pistol compare to mp5 on light
Pistol got a slight nerf but it’s def still good if you’re accurate. If you’re on controller I would go with the mp5. The shotgun isn’t the greatest but still usable in quickplay
You were a medium player before, right? What influenced you to change? Just curious as I try to settle into my own preference.

I don't think I saw one fair challenge in this video. You're just abusing invisibility equipment and shooting them in the back. The timer on that shit needs to be halved, such a cheese strategy lol
Cloak needs to be re-worked. I tried it for the first time the other day and it was silly OP. I'm not anywhere near as skilled as sYnc but I was still able to get kills beyond my skill level because of the ability to be cloaked pretty much the whole time. I feel like it should be charges, like dash, rather than a use and recharge like the healing beam. Cloak should be something you can use occasionally in high importance moments, not constantly throughout the whole match.
It has a direct counter(thermal vision) and you sacrifice a movement ability unless you choose the vanishing bomb and then it’s not permanent uptime. I think it’s very strong but I don’t know about op.
@@BroughtToYouByPfizer Yeah, OP just means in need of balancing in this context. I do feel it has way too much uptime at the moment. It needs to make you be more selective when you use it, like almost every other ability in the game. I think the Rhinehardt shield needs a similar restriction. And maybe the healing beam too.
@@bf5175 cloak and glitch is kinda all that light has to offer for utility. The class is intended to be hit and run tactics and it does just that. Aside from maybe other lights, nobody is rly dying an unfair death to lights especially when they have rpgs and landmines that 1 tap them

Is it just me that thinks the invisibility ability is over powered?
It is a little overpowered without having a direct counter. I also think they shouldn’t let you go in and out of invisibility instantly. If you go out of invisibility you should have to wait a few seconds to go back in
Invis will always be either OP or useless depending on its power level in any game. I actually think it can't be tweaked to be perfectly balanced, the only option is to remove the concept from the game entirely and give light class some other tool. Its annoying to play against indeed.

The medium class has the thermal vision, it charges and discharges just like the cloack, hit Q and you will see the invis light guy even on cloak

Honestly when someone tells me they're pro at a game I expect them to be able to adapt and adjust on the fly no matter what comes their way. That's why I can't watch these ultra sanitized e-sports where everything is watered down and devs constantly cater to whiny balance changes. You're barely good at a game if it's a fraction of its original vision and all you have to do is aim well.
Every streamer just goes invisible kinda hate that

Anyone else think light classes damage needs a little buff it feels like you can win a 1v1 but if you do your at 20 hp and die to gas or a turret 😢 or maybe nerf gas and turrets a bit because they are toi strong at the moment? Whats your opinion on the games balencing?
I think lights should not get one taped by rpgs
It's all balanced, light is the only one with glitch grenades and a way to shut off abilities. Cloak gives you all the survivability you need
There were plenty of times in this video the guy destroys a heavy and barely gets hit himself. Light doesn’t need a buff

Its better to watch people play it cuz it actually takes 3 plus seconds to kill someone. You have to empty a mag on someone while moving away from bullets to actually get a kill. It brings forward a new skill COD and CS has been missing out on. In CS its mostly one shot one kill. movement is a thing but reflex and aim is top priority. This is also why Apex players will flourish in this game. Movement and use of map and equipment will come before aim. And the fact that the ex battlefield devs made the whole map unstable changes everything. Your not just pushing B or holding A cuz you don't know if A will still be on your floor when the cashout is done.

This game needs an absolute overhaul. Heavys Newcastle shield, invis regain.... half the Tacticals are on wrong character... ie trophys being on mid and not the character who gets one shotted by everything(littles).... so many things O.P atm
