The engine and wiring harness is out of a 2007 Polaris outlaw quad. I swapped the entire harness. The neutral safety interlock still works. I think that is the only safety feature.
@@kartbuilds697 ok we have a 2008 that we are trying to put into an outlaw kart for racing in Cali., can't figure out wiring. This has the neutral, rollover and some other safety feature that we have to bypass. any suggestions? Nice build by the way.
Thanks. I just thought of one more. I don’t use the original thumb throttle. There is a switch in the throttle housing. If I remember correctly I just cut the two wires. Did it run fine before you took it apart? Where in cali are you? I live in California also.
