HEX ezCAN for a BMW R1200GS (K25) - Unboxing, installation & setup.

I wanted to add a phone charger and auxiliary lights to my BMW R1200GS. So purchased one of these HEX ezCAN units. This is the easiest way of doing it, without adding switches, relays, etc. I made this video to explain how easy the HEX ezCAN is installed​ and setup.

Hi, I've liked your video as it's good for anyone who's bought the HEX EZcan and wants to understand the work involved.
I couldn't help notice you said it's the same as the Denali Cansmart. This couldn't be further from the truth. Yes it's made by the same manufacturer HEX but with the Denali version you get all the harnesses that reach through to the various accessories. No soldering required whatsoever. It's also worth noting yours is a Gen 1 ezcan whereas theres now a new Gen 2 version with further functionality.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I did look at the Denali Cansmart but the HEX ezCAN was cheaper, and I wasn't sure if Denali's fixed harness would suit my needs. Both systems Denali Cansmart or HEX ezCAN are a good addition and give great functionality to a bike.

Hi Henrik, not 100% sure, they came fitted on the bike when I bought it. However, I think they are manufactured by “HEED” (heedshop.eu/en_US/p/Crash-bars-for-BMW-R-1200-GS-2008-2012-Full-Bunker-silver/270) Glad you are enjoying my video’s. More video’s in the pipeline :-) Thanks.
