Thanks for the nice review! The diameter of the thread on K668 mic is 5/8'' while the thread of microphone arm stand that can be screwed into the mic is 3/8''. So a 3/8'' Female to 5/8'' Male Adapter will make the mic mount on your boom arm.
I just ordered this microphone. The FIFINE K668 was recommended to me for computer work that I have to do with a microphone. I hope that it'll perform as expected .
@@erin1395 It would depend on your use situation. If you're in a rather quiet room, and most importantly, your main use is gaming, then K668 could also do the job well. But when you plan to do more application with the mic, especially recording, the K669B is more suited. Last but not least, if you're very concerned about keyboard or mouse striking noise and you're going to use it in a pretty loud environment, it's better to use the setup of a dynamic mic plus an audio interface, such as our K6 handheld mic with Behringer UM2 (costs around $50-$60).

Good review bro really well done. I bought 3 of these mics 3 years ago. It was the best £24 (£8 per mic) I´ve ever spent. I´ use them for interviews on my channel. I´m Just currently looking for a Camcorder with an external microphone slot for £100 - £250. Are there any you recommend? I know smart phone´s tend to have better cameras around that price tag. But sadly people get alittle shallow and snobbish unless they see a camcorder or expensive looking camera.
I say it's really good for gaming and just talking but if you're going to stream and do voice overs i say you should invest a bit more on a more expensive mic. Awesome video dude love how you're entertaining and informative.
I know you probably get this a lot but when I first saw your videos I thought you had a couple hundred thousand subscribers maybe even a million. But when I saw your sub count I was like, WTF? Your videos are really high quality maybe your not famous now but if you keep going I feel like you will be in a couple of years. Keep it up :)
I bought this mic and have been using it for about a year and love it so far. I bought a cheap boom arm for it and it mounted fine. I'm surprised it didn't fit your tripod.
I am interested in this microphone or its smaller brother the 669, but I'm a bit worried that it will pick up too much noise as I have my speakers at the back of my PC table. Can it filter the noise from the back?
It does a little bit, but not nearly enough to deal with speakers on your desk pointing at it. Honestly not much would be able to properly reject that.
@@DawidDoesTechStuff Thanks, I may have to look around for solutions how to arrange the desk then. Overall, this looks like a very good microphone for its price.
Yes, as Dawid mentioned, you can't expect the cardiod pattern of a condenser mic to do a pretty good job on rejecting background noise that was close, especially both the K668 and K669 is quite sensitive (even though the later one is more manageable on the level side). If there's no space to make a more sutiable placement of the speaker, you may want to consider a dyanmic microphone setup instead. But the total cost may go up to over $50.
So is this just like the k669b but without the nob? Because the k669b is $45 now which sucks because I want to get a stand but I don’t want to spend more than $50 total
Yes. Sorry that the K668 doesn't have the volume knob. As for the product's price, we beg you or anyone who are dissatisfied with the current pricing pardon. Maybe you can wait until the price kind of dies down.

Fifine do have a better recording microphone K670, comes with a live-monitoring headphone jack. Also, the large diaphragm(16mm) would capture fuller and round sound but still gives the clarity.

Could you please uncheck "Listen to this device" to check whether the problem still exist? If it still exist, then it should be the problem of your voice bouncing around the room and being picked up by the mic. If budget allows, you can purchase the arm stand to help fix it up.
