- G'day legends, This week Shauno and I had a red hot deep water fishing session almost catching a fish every single drop! The weather was perfect and we ended up with an awesome feed of fish! What more could you want?!? I also give you an in depth insight into the gear we used to hook into all those fish. Hope you enjoy the episode!

For the bait do you just bag them and freeze them or do you salt them dry them then freeze them ?
Peters fishing hey mate, I dry them with a towel then pack them neatly in a bag and cryovac them 👌 last for ages that way!

Aren't there limits to the fish amount you can catch in Australia? We are only allowed to have 10 of each type up to 20 fish maximum per person here in the US.

yep its a arrow squid we catch heaps on the oil rig i work on in the bass strait. I use kiwi fruit and marinate for a hour and a half rinse and cook yum yum

G'day Sammy. I know you are a very busy bloke so i will make this quick. This might put you out of your comfort zone , but can you do a video or two using bait. Not live bait, but bait brought from the local servo or tackle shop. ie: frozen bloodworms, squid, WA pillies, prawns ect. Most people that take their kids fishing, purchase these products without success. Cheers mate and keep up the good work. Just a suggestion mate.
Des Gamble hey mate, I’ve used frozen squid and mullet for bait in my videos before, but most of the time I like to catch my own bait which anyone can do. Or at least source it fresh from a seafood co-op 👌👍

you should try smoking the bonito just soak it in brine for 24 hours and make sure you bleed it. amazing tasting!!!!!

Ross Co I don’t think they have a minimum size limit but they are governed by a boat limit. Each state is different 👍
