Looked Like A Epic Trip! Nice Work Putting In The Time On The Rail Fellas! Good Action Picking Up Again On The West Coast Hopefully See U Guys Again Soon! 🔥🎣👊🏼
i love that you share the depths you are fishing in. as someone that does lots of offshore fishing in marco its cool to see what you get at different depths. tight lines
I feel sorry for anglers that have to surrender their jig bags. It could potentially be up to a thousand dollars in jigs. Definitely get a job for TSA...lol
This was the best video Johnny ! Loved seeing you and Chris doing what you do best . I want to go on this trip so please let me know what month was this trip? Jig on !
I do want to fish on the American patriot. I’ve fished pulley ridge many times. Many years ago mates and captains said jigs don’t work down here in Florida. We used silver hammered diamond jigs and crushed it. And so it began with jigs.
The Old School original for sure, for generations on end. And still work. The Japanese just refined and perfected the shapes and actions, and the light gear that’s more efficient in fishing deep by hand.
@Johnny JigsTV can you show the link to the jigs, rod and reel you used!! I am on your web site and cant make my mind up. lol like a kid in the candy store. thanks
Hey Johnny could you please give me a list of the jigs that are best for deep drop trips for tile, wreck fish, barrels, etc. in the NE from Long Island, NY all the way to the Gulf of Maine. I have a ton of your jigs up to 400g so I need a whole bunch of different sizes and glow colors….Thanks
The Electric reel is a Diawa Seaborg 300J, Thanks for asking. Here is a link to our website so you can check out the specs. johnnyjigs.com/products/daiwa-seaborg-300mj-electric-reel
The difference is night and day. The bunks, bathrooms, Chef prepared meals; you really can't compare the 2 which is why the AP is booked so far out in advance.
I just got into slow pitch jigs thanks to EliasV and let me tell ya they fucking rock. And yall are the awesome for helping us noobs out. Been landing gator blues up here in RI. So thank you
Sooo jealous! Had a great time last year with all of you.
Where were you Lenny 😕 I you could have snuck on in my jig bag.
@JohnnyJigsTV the big brown truck has been pretty demanding and I gotta take Mama on a real vacation this year instead of fishing. 👍🏾 maybe next year
Definitely a bucket list trip that I would like to do sooner rather than later as I'm already 53 years old.
You and me both

Dan the man...Thanks dude!
Awesome fishing!
So you're telling me that if I work for TSA I can get free fishing gear? 😂 Love the video, bucket list trip for me.
I feel sorry for anglers that have to surrender their jig bags. It could potentially be up to a thousand dollars in jigs. Definitely get a job for TSA...lol
As someone who works in the airport, TSA does take a bunch of that stuff home at the end of the shift
😳😳😳😳
@@JohnnyJigsTV Would there be a problem if the bag was checked in?
You can check it in no problem, except you will need to make sure your bag is not overweight.
Great video fellas!! Love to see these trips come to life. Can’t wIt to experience them for myself one day!!
Soon!! We fish

I started with hammer jigs too.

Nicely done boys!
Thank you!!
are you guys anchored or drifting or is the captain holding the boat in place over the drop ?
We are drifting for the most part. All though the captain does help keep us vertical.
Thanks for sharing, what pound braid are you using on your searborg 300?
20 pound

I love watching your videos❤️🧡💛💚💙💜I entered a fishing contest I didn’t win but I had lots of fun😊
I had no idea almacos got that big!
I had to look it up for myself but apparently the Almaco can get up to 38 inches long and 55 pounds 🐟
What’s the largest you’ve ever caught?
What Daiwa reel are you using? The electric one with the dail in the middle? Thank you and awesome video!
Thank you! Here is the reel johnnyjigs.com/products/daiwa-seaborg-g300j-electric-reel
Thank you. Looks like a perfect electric reel to jig with.
Looks like the boat is anchored up at different times.. were they on the pulley ridge? If yes, I thought you could not anchor on the ridge
It was like watching how the sausage is made with the shots of victor with the wahoo.
Can u jig with the tanacom 800
It's not ideal. The 800 is a bit heavy and cumbersome for jigging for any extended period of time.
Bro give us a catch and cook!
Will do!
What electric reel model is that?
The Electric reel is a Diawa Seaborg 300J, Thanks for asking. Here is a link to our website so you can check out the specs. johnnyjigs.com/products/daiwa-seaborg-300mj-electric-reel
is that a magnet clip or a clip for your gopro
It's a clip. You can buy them on Amazon
@@JohnnyJigsTV soundsgood, i was hoping it was like a body cam clip, but looks like just the clip thx
Tell me more about the electric reel you're using
Do y’all prefer fishing the American Patriot more than the Yankee Captain head boat? If so whats the difference between them?
The difference is night and day. The bunks, bathrooms, Chef prepared meals; you really can't compare the 2 which is why the AP is booked so far out in advance.
I bet that light is bright after being so deep 😅
Have never eaten a queen or yellow eye snapper
I just got into slow pitch jigs thanks to EliasV and let me tell ya they fucking rock. And yall are the awesome for helping us noobs out. Been landing gator blues up here in RI. So thank you
Love hearing it! Feel free to call our shop with any questions. Our staff are top-notch anglers and ready to help. Jig on! ....Johnny
Ergggg.... TSA knuckle heads. 😢
