- Legends!!! This week Shauno and I go in search of GOLD NUGGETS!! That's right we are chasing BIG Yellowfin Tuna off the Gold Coast! It turns into probably the most epic video I have filmed this year! Absolutely insane action!

I know it’s an older adventure but I just had the chance to watch and I have to give a shout out to Shauno for two proper gaff shots. After his alleged inpatient treatment for the gaffing impaired he deserves the credit for these shots
Loved watching this session. Reminds me of my first Southern Bluefin session. The countless hours and coin spent, then when it finally happens there’s no containing the excitement. 😀👍🏻

The dynamic duo, the S&S Team (Shaun & Sammy) teamed up to catch 3 Yellow Fin Tuna off the southeast coast of Queensland. The lost opportunity of a Black Marlin was soon forgotten as the reels screamed, Sammy screamed, Shaun screamed. I could have screamed as I watched the video but the Lorikeets would not have liked it. Heart-stopping action as Shaun attempted to bring his tuna into a position where it could be gaffed. The fish passed very close to the propeller & under the boat on several occasions. It was a riveting vision. Sammy was all a-tremble & Shaun's happy face sported the widest grin he's probably ever had. Then, later, a more subdued duo reflected on the day & prepared the fish meat for sushi. The boat needed a wash. The men needed a wash but who cared. And that was only day one in the quest for Golden Nuggets! More to come & I am looking forward to it.

What an Absolute Fantastic Fishing Adventure, Thanks Legends, this was unreal. Good thing Shauno"s got Sammy as a fish buddy, if Graham had the gopro on his head all we would see is the gunwale!!! Well done Sammy.
I couldn’t imagine anybody giving this video a thumbs down. This guy is one awesome human being and the way he treats and takes what he needs and pursues his passion and makes money on top of it is to me being on top in the best way. Keep crackin as you say and here in south Florida I will do the same.

Well done on achieving your dream catch, mate. I have to say blokes winding in fish hooked on the troll on heavy game reels isn't my cup of tea, but that stick bait action was fantastic. The good ol' Stella doing that whistling as the fish ran is the true sign of a powerful pelagic. I've only once heard it on one of my spin reels (when I hooked a kingie bycatch when winding in a softbait on my Stradic). I've got one of those Frantics (from the boys at EbbTide). Have hooked a kingie on it, love the action.
