And actually be a viable strat and not a gimmick that'll make you lose most fights, unfortunately Unlimited Codes is one of the very few fighting games with a unique gimmick like this that works well.

Gilgamesh didn't use Ea sooner in the battle because he had to build meter first.

Unlimited Codes had so many nice touches like this. It really was a game made with the fans in mind.
I prefer the time when he defeat his opponent in the round this song played and he said "I will end this next time(turn)" where you then proceed to do so by activating UBW and beat the living crap of your opponent.
Hands down the best remix of EMIYA I've ever heard. It's somehow subdued and yet has a subtly intense energy about it.

One thing I would have loved to see in this game:
Seeing Archer using EKUSUKARIBA IMAGE after the rain of swords in UBW.

Overkill for him you mean? He would have disappeared after he projected it, especially while using UBW.
Well in this game he didnt deflect Rin, so he has a shitload of mana source.
I think he would be fine.
He said that in the VN while he was low on mana. It's not really confirmed whether or not he could if he wasn't low.
@@r.k845 He can't project Excalibur Image. He can only project a weapon of similar power that will entirely drain him of mana. Divine Constructs can't be projected.The only exception is Excalibur in the Moon Cell because the Moon Cell grants him access to the missing elements to supplement his already existing connection to Avalon. And I may add that this was actually a BS explanation Nasu had to write up in the spot because his 3D Animation department had already finished creating everything for Excalibur Image before he could notice and stop them (and yes he did admit that they done goofed on that one).
So no, only Moon Cell's Archer can create Excalibur Image. Oh, and Chloe can use Excalibur Image too because of some BS about how the Archer card works (basically the Archer card cheats and allows the projection of Divine Constructs).
@@LeonGun8 He can actually project Excaliber. Though its a really imperfect version of.
Shirou projected one during the end of Heaven's Feel and using it *killed* him.
He also did mention that, if given time, he could actually analyse and project Excalibur Morgan.
Maybe its due to Avalon being inside him, but Excaliber seems to be the only exception to the "No Divine Constructs" rule.

Archer one on one with every single character from Blazblue, I think he'll still win against the Majoriy of it, the only few who'd defeat Archer would problely be:
Hakumen, Terumi, Nu/Lambda/Mu and maybe even Rachel, those are the only ones I think archer might die on :s
The girls might get affected by Eroge protag Ex though and it will become the whole love glasses thing all over again. Complete with white haired, red clad, sword wielding, deep voiced, snarky protagonist.
Now that I think about it, Archer and Ragna have A LOT in common.
