Yeah. In my experience, there are generally two types of our fav music. The first type is instant like, but gets boring real fast. While the second takes time to like, but it will grow on you. Unlike the first, it’s hard to get bored on the second type.
For the life of me I could not find this bgm again, so I did what any reasonable person would do. Pull out the old drive, do some shady file copying because why wouldn't file explorer crash when you try to read it, copy the old browser data... and here I am. Glad to have found this back alongside a few other memories.
here i am going back here after several years. I really think this music is great not only because of the instrument, But also the essence of the scene it was played. You are fighting one of your supportive ally in game. Its a friendly match but the loser will die and there is nothing to avoid it. Fighting with good term willing the best for each other yet you going to kill them by your own hand or be killed. Final friendly match and final goodbye.
I can't believe how long it took me to realize that this song is actually a remix of "That Ever Present Feeling" from Fate/Stay Night. It admittedly isn't very obvious but if you listen to the two songs you can definitely tell that they're very similar. And given that EXTRA references FSN at every turn and there are other remixed tracks in the game, it isn't that surprising.
I don't know what's with this song, but the first time i started hearing it in the game all i could think of was Digimon. It filled me with nostalgia because it reminded me of my childhood, back when i used to watch that show on TV. To this day i don't even know how that happened.

a tribute to both Rani and Rin =] almost heart breaking and epic at the same time. Hafta say Fate/Extra did good on every part. Plot, gameplay, graphic & soundtrack. Type Moon should seriously invest on the gaming stage.
Played all 3 servants Caster still my favorite by far, definitely the most memorable of the 3. Great character design and a good back story; not to mention she is fun to play since she starts weak and gets insanely strong end game.
Like a DND wizard right? Due to low MP, she can't fire off too many spells, but by the end of the game she has so much firepower that she can just vaporize the enemies without worry.
Hmm. After reading the comments below, I decided to write one too. Hopefully this would be an eye-opener to some people out there. Saber : Easy-to-use kind of hero. As she has a resurrecting skill and a Noble Phantasm which weakens enemies. All you need is brute strength and magic power to bulldoze your way through. Archer : Rather easy to use too. His UBW gives him an edge over the enemies. Rhio Aias is a perfect defense mechanism. All you need is to sustain his mana pool during UBW.
This pic of tamamo to me is the height of Takuechi's style that's reminiscent to Tsukihime and Fate VN but IMPROVED-- after that, his I feel his faces lost their life and look boring/sameish(when I see Grand Order art, etc). Such a shame, I missed his old style..
IARocks has a good point lol, coming back to this a year later I see Kohahu and Dark Sakura in those eyes (no coincidence) albeit a little less "dead inside" looking. I still stand by my original comment though, if only Takeuchi varied up his style more!
Nah, I think Takeuchi's only ever been had three or four different templates for faces and that has never changed The only reason it feels especially boring/sameish now is because he's been drawing too many girls and he basically only has one face for women

I really hope you're right. Fate/Extra CCC is about the only game I'm looking forward to being able to play so I've been on edge about potentially hearing the dreaded words of, "No plans to bring to America". Although, they did say the same thing with Pandora's Tower and that was finally brought over, Mother 3 still remains with only a fan translation.
AgateX9 I know that the anime is an original story, but at this point, I doubt they'll use much content from the game, especially with the direction they're going now. If they happen to use any OSTs from the game, this one would be amazing since it stood out the most compared to the rest. Most of the OSTs were funky and amazing themselves, but this song it has a nice blend of oriental tunes to it. Even the fight this song was used for meant a lot.
Well as her description says at the start of the game saber is for novice users and she is basicly easy mode, you have to try pretty hard or screw up extremely badly to managed to lose whit saber. It would made sense that they gave her strong growth across the board keeping that in mind.
Admission of demand isn't the same as feasibility from a business standpoint; but at least they are aware of some potential. I hope we're not in for a cocktease, because this is one game I really hope is released :) Thanks for the info.
Dude, I like that "fool". I like how she plays (her forte is hit stun), I like the stat growth she gains and I like the challenges that come with her. Plain and simple. This is starting to look like a waste of time between you and me. I respect your opinion of her and can see why. But, I wish you would respect mine.

She doesn't really get devestating until about the Rin/ Rani route (or the Sir Gawain fight if you haven't grind.) while Saber is pretty much powerful at the begining and Archer has many tricks. I have no idea what Arksys plans, but my guy in XSEED says it's been talked about in their company, though he couldn't give any details. I could see it being released over PSN perhaps. I'm fairly confident that SOMEone will port it over, or at the very least a fan translation could be done.
The whole idea is that they are meant to be different, they are digitalized avatars. Also they are different people all together. All of them are either NPC's, or simply avatars that people liked the look of. The only one we actually saw was *Rin*, whom in real life was actually a blonde, even Archer refers to everyone as a copy, not the real thing, although he says Shinji comes pretty close, just that he doesn't *feel* as malevolent as the real Shinji (apparentley he's an 8 yr old kid?)
Probably because it was drawn by Takeuchi. Caster was originally designed by Takeuchi who drew her as a saberface just like Nero. I dunno if Nasu suggested it or Takeuchi himself decided it but he later gave most of the servant early designs to WADA who remade them to her liking. That said Takeuchi played with a few early designs as some look like Arcueid and Saber while others are more similar to Hisui/Kohaku.
