You need to select any other GPU mode if "Eco Mode" mode is selected from Asus armory crate software.

Sometimes in Optimized mode, when the system is not connected to battery, the software disables the discrete GPU for maximum optimization.

OHHHH MY LORD! Man, thank you for explaining, i used the Optimized mode and couldnt understand why it has been periodically disabled by the system.

This is the only and best video that solved my problem. I tried everything and finally decided to check an ASUS user. I just updated my Amoury crate and I did not realize that the ECO Mode was switched on as a default setting which happened to shut down my GPU.
This was a very easy fix with the help of this video. Now, GAMES work perfectly fine again. Thanks with the Nice job K-PlusPlus...👍👍👍

You saved me for real! I deleted my Nvidia drivers and couldn't install them back because my Asus Flow x13 didn't see the graphic card and there was a message about incompatibility or smth, I tried many things but nothing really helped. But just simply doing what you recommended (Selecting maximum GPU mode in Armoury Crate) and rebooting the system helped to install the Nvidia GeForce experience and then do clean installations of drivers through it without any problem! Thank you so much!

On my new Laptop after a Windows 11 Update the GPU is even not listed anymore in Device Manager....
Short Fix that i figured out: Remove via DDU the preinstalled Driver and reinstall it . And then restart the Laptop. After Restart switch to the dGPU (in my Case Asus G17 Laptop) i mean its called Power Mode or something and after that, u can switch to Automode or Silent Mode and the Laptop list the GPU again :)
A ran into the same problem and the first video I found is about DDU but I’m afraid I might make a mistake on not having a display. But luckily I found this video.

I'm using ASUS TUF. In the GPU section, ultimate mode doesn't appear, sometimes ultimate mode appears.

@@KPlusPlus I downloaded some graphics card for windows to play minecraft. After downloading, I went to the ARMOURY CRATE software and was able to set the GPU to ultimate. After that, it no longer shows that mode, and at first it didn't.

Hey in my armory crate it doesnt show gpu mode section/tab any solution regarding that
Did you get any solution? Mine was the same problem.
GPU selection option will be available if your laptop supports Mux switch I guess.
For other people encountering the same problem but this not fixing it: if the laptop is running on battery power (i.e. not connected to an AC power supply), using the "Optimized" mode will NOT work.
im having this problem right now, after 4 hours searching solutions and didnt work, ill try to reset my pc remove everything and download windows from cloud, i hope this will fix the problem so im not going to asus service center, but if the problem is still then no other choices 😢

Go in Armory Crate > Select Device > Your Laptop Name > Select GPU Power Saving > Select Standard
