Thanks for the review! Especially noting about the height when cranked all the way up. My boyfriend opted for a 72" and will be putting it together soon. He loaded the bench on top of his Yakima rack on his Forester lol 😅 otherwise, if it was smaller he would've just unboxed it to fit in the back of the car. Also, glad to know he isn't the only one that wanted a mechanical for the same reason you stated. He's definitely gonna get a drill and crank it if he really needed to. 😆 I almost forgot to mention that i LOVE your idea of installing the bench backwards because i didn't like the logo either LOL thanks for that!
No problem at all, glad you enjoyed the review! I also have a roof rack I planned on using if it didn't fit in the car. Hope you guys enjoy it, mine's still going strong!
This is the video I needed to pull the trigger on this (going for the 72" one). Two questions: Can you sum up your time with this workbench ~10 months since this video? And you mentioned some of the holes in the wood weren't lining up perfectly to the metal parts-- do you think that has to do with the way you flipped the wood to hide the badge?
Sorry for the late reply! I actually like this desk/workbench so much I purchased a SECOND one..... th-cam.com/video/XLETPmfXljA/w-d-xo.html It has been great; no issues. I still only adjust the height ~1-2 times a day, I don't think I would want to adjust more often as it feels cumbersome after adjusting frequently. Every other aspect is still just as described in this first video. Regarding manufacturing, that could certainly be the case! I was thinking the surface is meant to be symmetrical, but it definitely could have been fabricated with the intention to install in one direction.
You can install the casters that raises another 3 inches might help the 6ft folks. Thanks for the detailed review. I was here to see if i can fit 3 32" or 3 27" monitors which option is better for a 72" version of this table. What sized monitors are you using in this video?
Great point, totally forgot about the casters - they would definitely give the desk an extra few inches of height! Regarding the monitors, these are 27”, with the central monitor directly centered. You could probably fit a third, but it would be a tight fit and the base may hang off as seen here (or may not work at all depending on the stand). Definitely doable with monitor arms, but if you’re thinking 32” I would consider bumping up to a longer size (compared to the 52” in the video)
@@EagleXYZLibertarianForChrist , I wasn't able to find a reputable source stating where these are made - but a quick google search suggests most Husky branded tools are made in Taiwan/China.
@@16ozsetups Thats what I found on a google search. Went to a physical home depot location to look at the workbench to see if it would say on it but never found it on there. Was hoping it may be in the instruction manual. Asked customer service & they couldn't find out but gave me a number to call. Called that number and they couldn't find anything other than something about the company being based in Atlanta Georgia. I am ok with it being made in Taiwan but not so much china. I try to be conscious of my purchases. Its sad because Husky used to advertise their products as being made in the usa. Looking for a new desk and found that industrial workbenches seem very solid for a computer desk. Found some decent ones made in the states but the configurations are not good for my room. I really want to buy this desk though as it has the perfect dimensions for my room in the 46x24 configuration. Solid wood top & the leg stands look the most appealing & functional of the ones I have seen.
Husky should sponsor you! I was on the fence, but after watching your video I’m going to pull the trigger. Thank you 🙏🏿
I just Subscribed to your channel brother 👍🏿

You seem chill. Beck yeah. Nice desk

The Husky workbench was a great choice for you!
the wheel casters make it taller btw
Yes! Can get a few extra inches by adding on the wheels.

Smart! I would hide that Husky logo too. I definitely relate on disliking logos and branding 😅
Glad to hear I’m not the only one, fortunately this one is a pretty easy fix
