    Suggestion- To have it “powered”, remove the hand crank and chuck a 10mm hex bit socket to a drill or impact driver. I have a Husky 52 mobile workbench and have done the same. You can easily switch to powered or manual anytime.

    Great video, love your edits. I am looking to buy one and your video made it more exciting! Also team Lowes, I agree with the cleanliness haha😊👍🏽

    I've got two of these 52'" and 46" in & out feed for my DEWALT table saw also use as a project tables. I love these tables. Able to move every where in my shop and out side on the driveway with my Tsaw

    Love the suggestion, didn’t really think of using a work bench as a desk. For that price, it’s really worth it! The putting together part was cute, Maia loves helping put things together

    Funny, I had the same problem with that same part covering the rod and did the same thing you did. Later that day my friend who also had gotten the same table showed me how he did it. You place the lifting handle in place and while the table still upside down you hand crank the legs leaving you a clearance of about 3/4th of an inch. After that, the cover falls in place without any force.

    I just found this work bench today and search to see if anyone had the same idea as me and YES!!!! This is definitely going to be my next purchase TODAY!!! I'm going to stain my desk though

      Super late reply, but what did the staining process entail? Does the top come prestained or is it unfinished? Thanks!

    I am am working a workbench with the Husky using Micro Jig. I put hard maple on top to make the table sturdier. I am team either depending on what I need. Home depot has some S4S hardwood. When I have time I order my wood from an outfit in Arizona with a good choice including birch ply wood.

    I just got a tip for these recently they look good but I am concerned about the height as well. Having used an electric desk previously, it would lift up very high for me. Not sure the listed 42" height will be adequate in the long term. Great review though. Looks great otherwise.

    Prefer Home Depot because it's usually a little cheaper than Lowes and the two times I went to Lowes to warranty a Craftsman tool they refused to do so.

    I can see the table top wobbling, is it stable when it's adjusted very tall?

    • @adam_gross

      It’s stable in my opinion for what I’m suing it for. A standing computer desk.

    You mentioned this table has wheels, and that it locks. Just curious how well DOES it lock? is it sturdy/doesn't roll around while the wheels are on + locked?

    • @adam_gross

      It’s very sturdy. It might depend on your floor.

    Great review. In scale of of 1-10 how would you rate its stability when at it maximum height? Does it wobbles? Thx

    • @adam_gross
      @adam_gross  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would probably put it at an 8. Definitely not as stable as a table but I don't notice it unless I try to make it wobble. I also have a decent amount of weight on it if that helps.

    What about your feet? do they get tangled up or hit that crossbar underneath? thats the only thing I can think that would be a hindrance

    • @adam_gross
      @adam_gross  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m standing position I don’t notice it. In seated position I do sometimes put my feet on the crossbar.
      And you can move the crossbar to the back.

    Great review! Thanks for making it. I am considering getting one of these, and had a question. In some of the pictures of other reviews I've seen, it looks like that bar that connects the legs at the bottom can be moved from the middle to the back. Is that correct?

    Hello Sir, I have been thinking of getting this desk as Sit/Stand desk and eyeing on the 46 inch due to space.
    If you don't mind can you please confirm how do you feel typing on this desk. Does it wobble a lot or do you feel it sturdy at the lowest and highest height?
    Thanks in advance !

    • @adam_gross
      @adam_gross  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello. I haven’t noticed any wobble. The desk is pretty heavy which makes it feel sturdy. I just pushed on it to try to make it move, and it does, but I have never noticed anything during normal use.

    How's the quality of the tabletop? Do you think it could support a clamp-on/drill-through triple monitor mount?

      The tabletop is very solid. Easily the heaviest part of the workbench.

    Clarification for a fellow 6'1" chap who wants to use this as a standing desk. The wheels add height, no? Is it perfect for you with the wheels on? And is this height perfect for you for long hours of typing? Thanks!

    • @adam_gross
      @adam_gross  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perfect with wheels on. I would say it’s fine for typing but I only really use my computer for video and photo editing, but also for hours.

    The max height on this desk is complete ass. You have to be like 5'5 to actually find this desk comfortable in the standing position. I don't know how you're finding it comfortable at 6'1. I'm 6'2 and its horrible posture, I have to crouch down. I lowkey regret buying this desk. At least the build is great, for the price it beats out any desk priced at 200 bucks.
