How to Make Strawberry Crunch Poundcake

2 sticks unsalted butter
1/2 c shortening
3 c sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 c buttermilk
Strawberry swirl:
Remove 2 to 2 1/2 cups batter-
add 1 TBSP strawberry extract
add pink or red food gel (optional)
Mix til desired color
Strawberry crunch:
20-22 vanilla sandwich cookies
3 oz box Strawberry gelatin mix
1/4 salted butter, melted
