- Seth Meyers takes a moment to address some of the errors from this week of Late Night, like mispronouncing the name of a children's book character and doing a Nicolas Cage impression that sounded like Andy Samberg doing a Cage impression.

Late Night with Seth Meyers

I can't wait for Seth to do Corrections live. The Errors Tour.
😂😂😂
Kinda defeats the purpose. "Corrections" needs to have an intimately small audience. A tour would attract crowds far too large.
@@johnobrien2373 Agreed. I just wanted to make a Taylor Swift joke.
With a 15 minute version of him singing Animal Flubs.
@@MrHosstilityYes Please, and the music video will be glorious!
The weeks-long 100th episode bit that’s concluded with restarting the episode number is the kind of chaos that defines Corrections.
Do you think it’s concluded though, do you not think he’s gonna milk it for another 99.5 episodes and then restart the restarting?
@@betsiecleworth5853 I say milk it for every last, dusty, drop! I love corrections!

Peak Dad. Seth has ascended.
i thought it was meh at first. but your comment got me curious and i had to look it up..... not bad, Leslie Nielsen
hell yes!
I recently told my wife about Seth and Corrections. What a masterful combination of wit, chaos, and levity. How a whole community has sprung up, with inside jokes and drama. How I've laughed until I cried too many times to count. She just replied "who is Seth Meyers?"
Hm, did she just look at you like you were crazy or roll her eyes? Not that it's happened to me.
I love our TH-cam jackal community!

He still has 98.5 more corrections to re-record as Seth’s version.
I guess people in rabbit holes can’t count.
okay, I think it's obvious which episode should be submitted for the Emmy.. it's the one where Seth has a breakdown inside the Bird Bane mask. Episode 94. It also had Jennifer Hudson with googly eyes. I just rewatched and the bird bane part had me in tears all over again. Just hilarious!
“I mean, like, is any of this worth it?”
You’re doing the lord’s work by telling us the episode number! Bird Bane instantly came to mind and you save me so much time digging!
Give me the Googs!
Yeah that's the one. I had that same thought and I just wrote that comment too but didn't know the episode number, only to scroll down and see y'all also had the same thought. I knew that episode was peak corrections, so nice to be validated.
Yes!
The Corrections that brought us Bird Bane is Emmy worthy
It’s time for the cardinal to rule . . . Bird Bane 2024!
Yes! Episode 94. It's also the episode where Seth first stated he was ending corrections at 100.
Bird Bane is scary.
"THE HANDS WERE A RUSE, BATMAN!!"
I second this! May bird banes rule be long and prosperous!
Seth started advertising Corrections at the end of Closer Looks. In that ad, he tells people they'd have to start at episode 1 to understand anything, but now there's an episode 1 and an episode 1 (Seth's Version) lmao.
"Sleeve him alone" was gold.
At least "gold coated".
I thought it tanked.
@@SJ-zs2ge Shows what you know.
Isn't saying that Seth looks “like a childless dog owner from LA” the same as just saying that he looks like his brother?
Looking like a "childless dog owner in L.A." sounds like a compliment, frankly. If it was intended as an insult, I'm not sure that one hit the mark.
POSHY, YA BURNT!
But I think Poshy has horses....so....
Poshy looks like mr. Governor..
😂😂😂 Yes yes we have to remember Seth is the nerdy more nasal-sounding one (literally the only way I can even try to tell their voices apart on the podcast)
To think that, years from now, Seth will start up a podcast with his brother called "Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers".
Shhh, spoilers!
Not if we use a time machine to go back to 2023 and steal his mic before the project ever is born!
What makes you so sure? No one knows what the future will bring 🙄
Oh Seth will have a podcast? How will the people of the future get to know about it though? I bet he’ll be too shy to plug it!
This is our chance in time travel to stop it. We won't, but this is our baby Hitler moment.
Never has anyone been happier that a joke landed than Seth after his Mikes joke. And good for him. He earned it.
I am a bit ashamed I only remember two Mikes: Mickey The Shoe & Tanktop Scollins....
I could tell what the joke was going to be when he started the setup, but it still had me howling with laughter 😂 had to shut the doors after that to stop disturbing my partner 😅
Great joke.
Those rejected Scollins jokes were AMAZING! I understand not airing them but thank you for sharing with us.

i love that the subtitles for corrections sometimes say, "single laugh." unclear if that's in studio or in general.

Having recently (within a few days) re-watched all the episodes of Corrections, I'm now very very scared.

yeah, and all us nut job jackals are going to watch anyway because 1. we'll love the re-dos anyway 2. we'll all also be terrified we could miss some spectacular new twists Seth & crew may throw in (being all sneaky)
I literally just started my re-watch yesterday. Seth seemed so insistent. 😅
He’s trying to overcome the ‘how to get new Jackals when it’s all so contingent and interwoven’ problem by redoing all of the old eps alongside the new
Im so glad i did haha
I literally just watched the first episode 10 minutes ago this played after and it made me feel like I had a f*cking stroke
also it was per-go-ative in the first one and you said per-gog-ative in this one so
I feel like "I feel like I had a stroke" is the purpose of most of the episodes of Corrections. At least on Seth's end.
Literally
That’s hilarious.
You made me realize, Seth’s been planning this for ages he’s been seeding the idea of having to watch / rewatch from the beginning in order to have maximum mess with the Jackals impact when he did this
I listen to corrections for 3 to 6 hours each night to keep the PTSD horrors at bay. I know every beat of every episode just like a song on the radio. Listening to Seth do a (pissed off) impersonation of Seth is the highlight of my weekend.
I'm glad you found something to soothe you when whichever horrors haunt you, and hope that gives you more energy to find something akin to a cure
Hey- I am actually going to use this idea; I had a pretty bad night just last night, and was trying to think of something to distract myself. If it works, you know....

C-PTSD here.
I totally do the same thing. Except that I cycle through the same audiobooks mostly. I will definitely try Corrections
Car Nerd Spouse, who is a jackal by proxy, just muttered “Ferraris don’t make tractors, Lamborghini does”
can i just jackal your jackal-by-proxy and say that of course *ferraris* don't make tractors, because the plural implies it's the car making the tractors, if we're talking about the company we would say "ferrari *doesn't* make tractors," which your car nerd (but obviously not grammar nerd) spouse should know since they said "lamborghini does"
Well, if you like pointing out when your spouse is wrong, you can have them google "Ferrari Tractors." :)
And also home heating units!
(I had one in Portugal 😂)
Car Nerd Spouse sounds like a character from Cicada Cicada 😂
Car nerd spouse is wrong, Ferrari makes tractors (and Wikipedia will confirm if you look for Ferrari_(azienda) in the Italian version)
I KNEW it wasn’t ending!! Seth is in it too deep to get out now, he’s gonna have to do corrections forever, even after he retires.
He'll do them for other shows
Wait till Seth's wife does his correction....

There's no way jackals would miss a correction about dingos. Maybe Australian jackals are dingos? 🤔
Humans migrated there 50,000 years ago, so they are more indigenous than the dingos.
