    I have always been a vegetarian, just in the last 3 months I went vegan. In the last three months I have lost 23 pounds! I love this so much, it is a lifestyle change!

      Yes!! I am a lifelong vegetarian (besides a few months when my parents had us eating pescatarian). I lost about 20-25lbs since going WFPB vegan.

    Hi Tia, my boyfriend and I started following you probably a year ago, we stuck to your recommendation and lost weight. We went back to our old way of eating and have gained the weight back. A few days ago he asked if we could go back to wfpb 😃 we’re going shopping today and stocking up to go back to healthy eating. Thank you for providing wonderful ideas and being so down to earth. Love your channel, keep providing your wonderful meal ideas!!!

    I was plant based for two years. Recently have kind of reverted back to standard diet, after my husband passed. Now I am trying to get back on track and get our young kids on board to help stay on track. Thank you so much, Ms. Tia, for the refresher!

    Tia.... I've been following you for quite awhile now... but something you said in the beginning of this video, struck me. You said you had tried this lifestyle for almost a decade? I have been dabbling in plant-based living for quite a few years now... and just never can quite get it to stick! I have been so hard on myself, why can't I do it, when everyone else can if they want to? But... maybe I'm just over complicating it all? Thank you for your videos and for the encouragement!!! I figure every meal I do eat that is clean..... all the better! So... still striving for one day!

    • @HealthyVeganMama
      @HealthyVeganMama  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes for me I was over complicating it and it wasn’t applicable to my life, so it wouldn’t stick. You have to make things simple for you and your life. That’s my biggest advice :) you can do it ❤️

      @@HealthyVeganMama .... Yes... I think that is what I need for sure! I tend to have my favorite things, and always go back to them. I just need to keep those key things on hand at all times. Broccoli & cauliflower in freezer. Oatmeal, etc. It's when I get too many other things around that I think I MIGHT like, but just don't. So picking these few staples will make it so much easier. Thank you!!!

    If someone really wants a “lid” on the mason jars and also avoid the funky fermentation … place a square of cheese cloth over the mouth of the jar and screw on the lid. Keeps the air circulation but feels like the fruit is a bit protected in the fridge.

  • @m.taylor
    @m.taylor 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Mason jars are so useful. For the smaller ones, I like the wide-mouth ones which are stackable.

    Tia, I know your focus is health and food and I love it. You are so amazingly beautiful and was hoping you can share your hair and makeup routine. I know you will say, well it’s so simple and no biggie but my gosh you look amazing. I know all of it has to do with what we put on the insides on our bodies that reflect on the outside but a little product here & there won’t hurt. Lol. I’m 54, yes a bit older than you but love hearing your positivity and you sharing your journey. You always keep it real.

    This channel has saved my sanity I have been struggling and also have a family of meat eaters which makes it much more difficult because of your tips I’ve simplified things a lot and eat plant based now most days a week merging my meals with my family . I don’t spend hours anymore meal prepping and cleaning up anymore and feel great plus I have my family eating 1 plant based per week hopefully working up to 2 plant based thank you for all of your tips

    I like your idea of putting your fruit in mason jars. I think it is a good idea. It makes fruit look even more beautiful and I tend to forget what fruit I have. The mason jars are a good way to see what fruit you have left over and how much you have left over.

    • @HealthyVeganMama

    I also try to avoid oil in cooking, and I've discovered that dry sautéing on medium heat before adding any liquid tremendously helps with flavor development

    I have found myself in the same situation, trying plant based, raw vegan, keto, IF. I would buy all the food, spices, gadgets, equipment to start one way of eating only to fail and then a few months later try something else. IF did work for me a couple of years ago and I lost 50 pounds in five months and kept it off until started working remotely. Now I find myself needing to lose 25 pounds again. Plant based makes the most sense in the long run, but it does seem to be laborious to me. I can’t look in the pantry and come up with an idea,,,, I need to watch a video or at least have a plant-based cookbook for ideas and recipes. And when I find something, then I don’t have the Ingredients and the wind up eating SADly.
