I have oily, hyperpigmentation, aging skin, sometimes acne skin. This is what got my skin in a good place.
AM: Good molecules niacinamide toner, Paula's Choice Azelaic acid (excellent), sunscreen
      VARIOUS PM routines:
5x a week. Good molecules discoloration serum, Azelaic acid, tretinoin, moisturizer.
2x a week. Exfoliate with either, 10% lactic acid by the Ordinary and/ or 7% glycolic acid by the Ordinary, moisture. My skin is smoother and my hyperpigmentation has improved greatly. Hope this helps.

I use a rag (as do most black people) and want to know if that is the best way to clean my body or if there’s a better way to clean my body. Also, I love getting braids and might be getting locs after a month. I know you’re kind of against it, but the styles hold heavy cultural significance to people of African descent. Please do a video or Q&A for braids and loc care, as well as the best products to use for them. Thanks so much!

Firstly I would like to say a big thank you! I have learnt soo much about skincare from your channel and it's honestly helped me alot, I have switched to using nafe safe products now, and I do use sunscreen every single day, I did purchase the Neutrogena physical sunscreen the one with the yellow packaging you recommended however it leaves a white cast, so could you please recommended me a good Physical Sunscreen thats available in India that doesn't leave a white cast?
Also if it's not too much to ask, Could you please do a review on this brand called Chemist At Play, they have come out with many non fragrant products but I'm a little on the fence, So would love to only purchase the products once it's Dr. V approved, Specifically their body lotions and non fragrant and fragrant underarm roll on's.

Hi, I too have a dandruff problem and I have tried these dandruff shampoo like head and shoulder, biotique dandruff shampoo and one randomly bought from a pharmacy with ketoconazole , but none of them worked for me.
The one that worked was prescribed by the doctor - Zerodanz shampoo by velite
For fungal acne - ' Clindamycin Phosphate Gel USP '
i used to have the Himalaya face wash 3 yrs back but i think it made my fungal acne worse and it was quite drying for my skin, it also gave tiny pimples on my brother's face so i would advise you to avoid it.
Instead go for Cetaphil gentle cleanser or maybe simple face wash or minimalist SA cleanser is good too. All fragrance free and approved by Dr.V
( I personally like to keep my face wash free from any active as i would easily know what to avoid if my face reacted to anything.)
And I'm currently using the retinol 0.3%, it didn't react on my face, I've yet to see any visible results , I'm half bottle down but with retinol the problem is , we get results in 4-6 months.

I love the ordinarys lactic acid. I tend to have 2/3 green tea peels a year. Is this something you recommend? I feel it helps with sebum production, pores and pigmentation
