In an older video of yours, you recommended at night using the niamicide at night following the alpha arbutin, then use the MAP (or ascorbyl Glucoside 12 since MAP isn't available), then the azaleic acid, and moisturizer. In the morning you recommended to use cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF. Which routine is better?

Hi doctor V. 5:50 you Said not to add Many serums because it will not penetrate the skin by the time you reach the third serum. I would love to try your Hyperpigmentation Kit since you say it is stronger but before I buy it, it would be nice to see a demo of the product on your skin, that is, you not wearing any makeup, so we can see your raw skin and how it looks. I see a lot of products from people who have created products for hyperpigmentation but never show the product on their bare skin without using makeup, filter, or any tricks one uses to create an illusion of clear skin.

Hi Dr V., I've been binge watching your videos this past month, and they are totally revamping my skincare routine. As east Asian at 40 , I noticed I am rapidly developing hyperpigmentation from acne scars and sun damage this past year. Using an older Ordinary routine you've recommended this past month, im already starting to see how my skin has calmed down from acne . Love what you are contributing to SOC skincare, thank you so much! The earlier Ordinary layering routine for hyperpigmentation (from 2 years ago) recommended 5 actives in the night routine. In this video from a week ago, you mentioned using layering above 3 actives are an overkill since the actives can't reach the skin when there are too many products. Can you clarify/confirm this point?

Hello Dr V always a pleasure watching your videos and gaining knowledge. I’m in my 40s struggling with melasma/hyperpigmentation what in office treatments would you recommend that I could benefit from thank you
I am 21 years old and had pigmentation on my face for 6 years and I have been using the facial pigmentation kit for over a year. I started using it on 23/06/2021 and I have finished my 4th facial pigmentation kit now. I have seen little difference in my face but I am not happy with the result because I expect my pigmentation will be gone after the first or second set but the pigmentation is still on my face😢. So my question is should I buy my 5th face pigmentation kit or just find other options? are there any side effects if i order my fifth set? according to how many facial pigmentation kits should stop buying or using if the pigmentation is still there?pls I need your help 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm not a dermatologist, but let me tell you that at your age, your skin is turning over very quickly. After a year, you're definitely looking at skin from since you started on this regimen. If you are following it religiously, then there is clearly something else you need. Might be in addition to the kit not instead of it. You really need to see a dermatologist, because there's something causing the hyperpigmentation still, and the kit is just removing what was already caused. You need to remove the cause, which is obviously persistent. Are you using a zinc oxide sunscreen 365 days a year, even if you don't go outside that day or it is a grey day? Are you wearing hats and sunglasses outside? Are you controlling acne? Are you eating a healthy diet so that your skin has the vitamins and minerals it needs? Do you have any underlying medical conditions causing excessive inflammation or interfering with your purification organs (kidneys, liver, etc.)? What's going on with your hormone levels each month? Steady or sporadic? You need a doc who can dig into all this with you, not just someone giving general advice on the internet.
Hello Dr V, I have just discovered you and binge watching your videos. They are so informative - thank you. I was wondering your thoughts on Liz Earle cleanse and polish. Thank you again
Was literally just looking at The Ordinary products in Sephora this weekend. I went there to get more of my Inkey list niacinamide serum. One of the associates mentioned that Youth to the People Retinal + Niacinamide serum is more effective. Is that true or should I stick to Inkey list?
Dr V thank you so much for your videos. I have been following for a long time now. I would like you to please do a skin care routine for the body of skin of color. I have seen some videos on TH-cam about body skincare routine but would not have the confidence to follow those guidelines. I have been following your videos and I am seeing great improvement. Thank you in advance.
I have (skin of color) acne prone, combination skin. Do you recommend both the ordinary 0.5 retinol with a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment in the same night routine? If so, how do I layer since they are both spot treatments?
Great video as always! Question: I am thinking of purchasing new skincare from your site, but would like to hear your recommendation. I'm a woman in mid-40's with acne once in a while.- What would you recommend?
Hi Dr V! just discovered but already loving the info and effort you put in your videos. i’ve got super chapped lips despite drinking a lot. can you make a video on types of products suitable for chapped lips?
Hello there. Just seen your videos…..great information you are providing. Many thanks. I love your inzincable SPF 50. Which of the moisturising factors are you referring to here? Is the + HA or the + Phytoceramides?
Thank you for sharing so much information 👍. My T-zone gets super sweaty during summers and wearing sunscreen makes it even worse. Can you suggest products to deal with the issue???
I have the same issue! I get so humid and end up wiping all the makeup off my face 😂 I feel adding a setting spray makes it worse by clogging the pores. I found a new bb cream tinted with SPF 50 where I live and it's been much better!! I realized I didn't need foundation.
I’m a bit confused- you recommend (loosely) two vitamin c serums in this video but don’t highly rate them. But then in another video you said your favourite vitamin c on the market is by the ordinary - the ethylated ascorbic acid. Why didn’t you just include this one instead of the other two you mentioned? Do you still recommend the ethylated ascorbic acid? Thanks for all your videos!! It’s a huge help :) xx
Really nice to see to get guidance about skin of color from someone who's well informed. Please review Klairs products especially the freshly juiced vitamin drop (vitamin c) and the freshly juiced night mask (vitamin e).
Should this advice replace your previous video from 3 years ago on the ordinary layering for pigmentation where you include more products like granactive retinoid etc. or is that routine for more stubborn hyperpigmentation?
Dr. V, would you consider using TH-cam's premiere function so we can know what time to watch? I'd love to leave a comment within the 1-hr window you're available but I tend to catch these later.

In ur the ordinary layering video from a couple yrs ago you added a granactive retinod to the routine. Do u still recommend that and is there a reason you did not include it in this video?
So love your videos! Always provide cheaper alternatives if you can't afford your brand! I love your products, but I don't like the shipping and waiting. Thank you so much 💓
Your videos are very informative and simply to understand I went and brought the products recommended in your videos and after 6 months saw no difference at all i was advised by the shop assistant to alternate certain products not sure what went wrong
Do you have a video about using The Ordinary products for lightening dark underarms? I watched one of your your videoes about dark underarms but I was going to get specific product recommendations and how to layer them. Thank you!
This video is so insightful! I've been suffering from hyperpigmentation on my butt for years caused from post acne. Given the location of my hyperpigmentation and it being a place with a lot of friction, would you still recommend a gel moisturizer or is it enough with the exfoliants and vitamin c? Wondering if given the location, would the added layer of moisturizer clog my pores? PS - I've added all of these products to my cart! So excited to try!

I love her more when she doesn't push her own product.
Really nice to see to get guidance about skin of color from someone who's well informed. Please review Klairs products especially the freshly juiced vitamin drop (vitamin c) and the freshly juiced night mask (vitamin e).
Try dermadoc and sanfe products from India
Should this advice replace your previous video from 3 years ago on the ordinary layering for pigmentation where you include more products like granactive retinoid etc. or is that routine for more stubborn hyperpigmentation?
Dr. V, would you consider using TH-cam's premiere function so we can know what time to watch? I'd love to leave a comment within the 1-hr window you're available but I tend to catch these later.
Hi Dr V, Thank you so much for doing these lovely videos. I have purchased your book and I shall read it soon.
Please could you do a Paula's Choice routine video for anti ageing and their new products.

In ur the ordinary layering video from a couple yrs ago you added a granactive retinod to the routine. Do u still recommend that and is there a reason you did not include it in this video?

How’s your trial studies going for your eyelash serum?
Hi doctor V. Please review the Timeless skincare products.
Doctor, for neck darkness which one do you recommend?
