We always try to get as much video as we can but we have to work around customer schedules sometimes as well which doesn't always give us the opportunity to capture everything.
Im a 981 gts owner that’s local to your area. Would installing these produce a check engine light? I’d rather not touch the ecu in order to keep the CPO warranty, unless there’s ways around.
Our experience has been a little mixed on the CEL with these, for the most part we haven't had any issues. You can run an O2 spacer as well that would give extra insurance.
You would lose your warranty though. You cannot even mix different Porsche approved tyres, e.g. Pirelli N0 on the front axle and N1 on the rear axle without voiding your warranty...
It's the only thing I don't like about mine. Would be more fun (and less risk to license) with shorter gears. Sometimes when I wind it out a bit to hear that glorious flat 6 wail, I'm doing almost triple the speed limit. I pick my spots but still if there's ever a radar set up I'm cooked.
Sounds very close to a GT3 now.
I like the tone with the new downpipes with the exhaust switched off! More race rasp, less bass. Sounds more like a Le Mans car. Very cool.
Would have been nice to hear a before/after comparison vs. stock headers.

Sounds pretty damn impressive. Need some 200 cell for the panamera
great video..thank you...been wondering this myself...might push the button on a set...shame you'e in the States...
with 200 cell, have you got better engine reaction?tnks👍👌
Header voids cpo? What about emission?

Do I have to have an ECU tune to take advantage of the performance gains ?
No but you can get some more power out of optimizing the ECU for adding headers.
@@Flat6Motorsports are the gains they claim with or without the ecu tune
do you know when you will have these back in stock?
I don't believe they will be back but the iPE headers are very similar.
Every time I hear a 981 accelerating, I am surprised how long the gears are...

My ears are now broken. Thanks youtube
It sounds good, only issue I am having with any such mod is that it voids the warranty...
