I really liked Jodie's Holiday specials, especially the first one. A scary Dalek at its best (or worst). And her witty performances made a perfect match for those quite dark episodes.
despite tom baker being my favourite classic Doctor I've never seen the ep of his first meeting with Leela. And the Doctor's never-ending supply of Jelly-babies.
C'mon, surely the 8th doctor should be in this! His only main series apperence (aside from cameos like Night of the Doctor and Power of the Doctor) is set on new years!
I love Jodie Whitaker and all of her companions! Chibnall wrote a lot of great episodes. Jodie is now my second favorite doctor after Patrick Troughton! I really miss Jodie Whitaker.
ALSO LOVE THE 007 takeoff! EVEN SAMANTHA?? BOND AS THE EVIL ONE INSTEAD OF OH JAMES.. GLAD THAT other guy was SMART ENOUGH TO DUCK!! I always wondered why nobody did that‼️from
That was the Most Jodi & Sarah Jane I’ve seen‼️👍🎄& more of Savage Girl Leela! Of the Baker woman I ONLY saw SJ & LEELA plus #10 11 12 13 A GOOD SHOW! & WILFRED!
From "Are you my Mommy?" to 'The Weeping Angels' - The Show blows one's mind as easy as a smile that would cross a previous Scarf-tripping Hippie of a Doctor... I wonder Who that was? ;) Best modern pairing was Tennant & Rose. HNY & Respect eh
@DrWhoFanJ Erm... because she is the best and I love her enough to watch eleventh doctor? :) BTW there is Sara Jane here with the episode that I haven't seen (well, I haven't finished watching all old series, but this one seems to be her own, no?).
@@voronische That’s not how anything works. River Song wasn’t in any New Year's Day specials, so she won’t be here. You can tell the origin of every clip by looking in the top right corner when it starts. (And you can easily identify pre-2005 DW by it being 4:3 rather than 16:9 or 2:1.)
The episodes with Jodie were so extremely bad written. I could never watch more than five minutes before switching off. Anyway, it was nice to see Wilf again. Mr. Cribbins, you did a perfect job. RIP.
Tbh, Resolution is a BANGER episode.
I loved how Jodie delivered the line: “Now, do that again to my face!”
That was the episode that completely sold me on Jodie 100%
It's solid but I wouldn't call it a banger
I honestly thought it was a bit boring but don’t come at me I’m not a 13 hater
Truth
David Tennant end of time was a classic
Timothy Dalton is the best Rassilon ever. Happy New Year, Doctor Who. 💓
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
🎉
You too.
“2005, January 1st” hits a lot harder when you realize it was exactly 20 years ago
It does
yall are diabolical for putting 10ths regen in here, YOU KNOW IM GOING TO CRY

Resolution episode was phenomenal
So happy the Sarah Jane Adventures made it in here! 💓
And rightfully so too.
Actually, the last 2 episodes of Torchwood's first series both aired on New Year's Day in 2007. Surprised they weren't included too.
Fortunately Sarah Jane has had training dealing with aliens.

Murray Gold is an absolute genious! Can NOT be beaten!
It's nice to see some of the Spin-Offs sprinkled in there. In these supercuts.
Happy new year.
Same to you.
This is the best live stream i seen in years
1:57 funny how it immediately powers up here but when he tries to use it on the Doctor it takes several seconds to let the Master stop him
"I don't want to go!" should now be changed to "I'll be back!" LOL.
0:39 Apparently health and safety is not a thing on Gallifrey (no railings). That gun scene, so well done.
I do miss Jodie Whitaker as the Doctor, she was brilliant

creepy carving in the stone like Mt Rushmore of #4 "the evil one". :).
WOW! THIS….IS INCREDIBLE!!!
I love Jodie Whitaker and all of her companions! Chibnall wrote a lot of great episodes. Jodie is now my second favorite doctor after Patrick Troughton! I really miss Jodie Whitaker.
peace
I'm sure the next Doctor will be Rupaul🙂
It's "Revelation," not Revelations. A very common mistake.
happy new year to all.
Same to you.
ALSO LOVE THE 007 takeoff!

Just about to wrap up 12’s arc!
Call me crazy but I actually enjoy the Chibnall New Year specials.
You are not alone pal 👌
Wheres paul mcgann
He wasn’t in any New Year's Day Specials.
@ but the episode takes place on new years
@ It’s not about when the events happen; it’s about when the episode was shown.

1:21:43 what episode is this from? Who are those glowing things? I’m trying to google it but can’t find them anywhere
It is Spyfall part one (Series 12 Premiere)
@@dragonautes321 thanks
Peter Capaldi was the last Doctor. R.I.P. Doctor Who
He wasn’t. There isn’t one. It isn’t dead.
Year's*
thank you for Wilf. Hope to see River (I am still in the middle)
Why would River be here‽ She was never in any New Year's Day Specials!

Why isn't Revolution of the daleks in here, I hope its not because John Barrowman was in it.
It is. 33:36.
No. They weren’t.
Even Doctor Who has gone woke

As is this comment. Life is all full of Karma.
How irrelevant 🥰 anyway I love jodie and the 13th doctor and her episodes are amongst my favourite of all time x
Not just badly written, they were preachy
@@ianmichael2682They’re neither.
I agree they were badly written, which really is a shame, I think Jodie would have been an amazing doctor, if she was given better material.
Still baffles me how she had THREE companions and not one of them was remotely interesting 😅
FOUR*, and they all were very interesting.
@@DrWhoFanJIsn't it subjective how interesting something is?
@killianobrien2007 Not at all.
Very surprised this is here. I read on Twitter that Jodie had been ERASED FROM DOCTOR WHO.
No, you didn’t. That would never happen.
@ I did read it on Twitter mush.
@@eltigre6917 Not by any reputable source since it would never have happened.
@@DrWhoFanJ it was a reputable source. It was from a man in a hat. You can always trust a man in a hat.
@ It wasn’t. It wouldn’t be so obviously false otherwise.
I don't argue with Rassilon. It's too much of a hassilon.
