    haha awesome to see you using this Mark. really helps with the casting doesn't it especially wen u surfcast full time. a good tip for the cable tie is to melt the cut ends off with a lighter to soften the sharp tips

      Cheers Peter, yeah this thing makes it so much easier to cast longer distances. Luckily I saw you using it :) Thanks for the tip with the cable ties, sounds like a good idea.

    I use a piece of bicycle old tube from tyres in my finger, much better, you can feel the line and protect your finger and it is free, just ask to any tyre shop, they rubbish them....just a tip. My one is called bionic real free finger hahaha , I enjoy your channel.

      That's a great tip, thanks. I lost my trigger a while ago. Might try your method.

      How do you attach it to you finger? Do you fit it like a glove? Loose with a string attached to your finger?

      @@RaffyMaBoijust put your finger in it. It would be better if you used a thin bike tube though

    Ive cut my finger countless times and been through 2 finger gloves, it's definitely time for one of these

      @@Fishingreminder it's quite good plenty of flatfish, bass, harmless shark's, not any man eater's. Coalies cod sometimes, whiting

      I always melt the part where the tail was cut off...it rounds and flattens it out

    This is an absolute finger saver but i dont think it will affect the casting distance for an experienced angler.
    The only con in my opinion is when the trigger fail it will definitely break your rod with the casting force.

    That guy casting ends up on one leg. Not a great technique.

    • @Fishingreminder

      Haven't you heard that the one legged casting technique is the latest craze these days? :)

    • @jimdooley1611
      @jimdooley1611 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Fishingreminder One guy I saw had an even better technique. On one leg and with one hand the butt grip of the rod. And not on a beach. On an open quayside. Like a cross between a javelin thrower, a shot putter and a springboard diver.

      🎣 the original comment is right, and a one leg stance is off balance of a solid stance,!... 🎣
