Red ink allergies are a myth. Cheap chinese inks cause problems and infections due to iron giving the ink it's color, and other bad practices. @@Taqifshabythenedhepidhin Absolutely not. This is infected. He lost the ink because the scabbing became so thick it fell out. It was one of my best tattoos & I was mad. I never gave him another one. The same with some idiot I tattooed. I gave him the aftercare sheet & read it to him. It/I specifically said no swimming or soaking the tattoo. He went swimming the same day. Then wanted me to fix his tattoo after a bunch of ink left. I told him to go f himself. Lastly similar to this video. I gave my gf a tattoo. Ive already given her a couple at this time. She forgot her bar of dial soap & ointment at home so she used liquid soap & no ointment at work. By the time she made it home, I could tell it was going to be bad. It looked very similar to this video a couple days later. Not quite as bad though. A tattoo I didn't do on a chick from work... I was supposed to.. but I was still nice & tried to help her with the after care. I told her she was using too much ointment. She was a b!+ch & acted like I was wrong. Lol.. she came back a couple days later with a thick scab across the whole thing. Lucky for her it was a quarter size tattoo. I told her she should have listened to me. 😂 she didn't loose any but it was faded af.
Basic biology. Darker skin rejects tattoos more readily because the ink is seen as a foreign substance that it needs to get rid of. Even more so with colored (red ink) ink. It is the body's natural defense mechanism at play. That helps explains why people with dark skin almost always have to get their tats with black ink for it to show. Even then, the those tats fade quickly over time compared to people with lighter complexion. Lesson here, the dark melanin is the protection from a possible infection ;)
Thats not even true though.. dark skin doesnt reject ink more often, but instead a lot of artists are not trained with dark skin and ruin their beautiful canvas/client. Its sadly a common issue, despite that they even sell dark skinned fake skins! and actually man, Using a true black on dark skin will (from what i know, maybe its not true anymore) but, i always heard that will result in a greenish or blue ish tattoo instead of gray like most black work fades to is like a black gray, and a lot of artists (either used to or still do) mix i think red or yellow to cancel the green and blue base in black inks to keep dark skin looking nice and not like they have a green tattoo
@@Amused_Comfort_Inc It has nothing to do with training. I also understand that many artist are not trained to work on dark skin. What you're missing is how biology works when it comes to the human body and its natural defenses. To the body, any ink is a foreign substance and as such, it will be rejected over time. Darker skin tones will reject it faster than lighter skin tones. The body does not want the foreign substance so it defends itself by rendering the tattoo lighter and lighter. It happens with all skin tones over time. That it why tattooed people have to go get 'touch ups' over time. Let's face it- biology and nature win over time no matter how hard you try to change.
man stop talking shit.. some oft the pigments get los in time but not that much.. when its well done, the tattoo will look clean and just get a little lighter.. you talk like they allmost disaper😂.. do you have tattoos? and the video shows an allergic raction to the color.. the artist dont even use glovs which has to be standard so maybe they use low quality ink which is not suppose to go under the skin.. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! the skin color don’t matters and even black people can get color and even white tattoos.. it whil just turn out darker all in all
Thank you , I was doubting if I want a tattoo but now you give me a solid reason to not have it but also saving this video in case my future children want some thank you tattoo it’s a sin
I’d say start by wearing gloves and cleaning the environment before blaming the ink. The artist didn’t even wear gloves. I don’t even tattoo and I know the basics of a clean environment.
I have a tatoo just below my bicep. It bled so much and my skin rejected the ink. I got scared and my tattoo artist told me not to worry and there u go the redness dissappeared the next day...my tattoo turned out fine
Ugh....man, maybe I don't need to get my first tattoo, I was planning on getting a John Steward Green Lantern tat, with a little bit of green, but after seeing this idk
This is a bad example to look at. This was done in india and yeah the artist didn’t even wear gloves. I question the cleanliness of the space and all equipment used during this tattoo. Infections can happen but go to a qualified tattoo artist that follows cleanliness protocols and you should be fine.
Yep, infections are typically caused by dirty people and dirty environments. If your tattoo artist doesn't have gloves and has a bunch of dirt under their fingernails you're almost guaranteed to get an infection. You're extremely lucky to still have a hand considering the filthy environment it was done in as well as the dirty person who thought they were skilled enough to call themselves a tattoo artist. The machine most likely wasn't autoclaved or sanitized in a safe manner or at all. Be careful with your skin, house tattoos are ok in my book but, only if the individual is intelligent enough to understand proper cleanliness, sanitation and skill to do a tattoo properly.
I will say the area should have been sterilized before and after, then covered with wraps for healing and keeping bacteria out. I think that is more of the cause then the nails. If this action wasn’t taken, dirt and bacteria could’ve gotten in from anywhere after the session. Pausing the video, I only saw one nail covered in ink. The rest looked fine
If you ever have such a problem, go to a tattoo artist and apply the ointment that he tells you to apply. Also, do not eat sweet or sour things for 3 days.
I used phat cat inks about 15yrs ago, did the rolling stones tounge on my leg (side of calf) It looked nowhere like this, but it Def rejected the ink and had a million issues healing. My nails were clean amd I wore gloves etc
I have never had an infection on my tattoos that I have. it applies to both you as a customer and the tattoo artist to have good hygiene. make sure you go to a studio that has gloves. etc., then after work the tattoo artist has none. any oversight what you do with the tattoo. it's up to you to take care of it. you can't come after a few days and complain about hygein after. that the tattoo artist didn't have gloves is completely wrong from the start. you should have checked before online. then being allergic to a certain color. is okay, but you should always check which colors you can't stand. one from Sweden.
Ah, allergic to red? I found that out the hard way too lol But my allergy didnt appear until I'd had the piece for a good 5 or 6 years. Every tattoo i have that had red in it all leched out of my body. Lots of blank spots but not huge thankfully!
Red ink fades out the fastest of any color. At least that’s what I’ve heard. And actually 5-6 years is what I heard as far as having to get it touched up. I’ve got one red rose, if it fades I’ll just redo with black and gray.
@@xxsaltytryhardxx3295 I have half my body covered in them. Believe me, every part with red swelled up 10 times the size it should have been, and oozed like in the video. That's not normal fading lol The hospital I went to had never seen anything like it. Found an old artist who had been tattooing his whole life. Said we have biochemicals in our bodies that can change every 7 years or so. It's why we may not be allergic to something for most of our lives, and then one day we are. Or why we hate a food as a kid, and love it as an adult. It's way more involved than that, but he'd only seen one other person have happen what happened to mine. He thought we were going to have to re tat everything with a blank needle, apply drawing salve, then rip out the pigment 😩 Thankfully that wasn't needed and my body pushed it all out on its own. My other tattoos have worn normally over the last 22 years. Fading depends on more than the color. Red doesn't fade as quickly as yellow, or pastels. Placement is important. If it's on a body part you use or bend often. Like the one where my wrist creases has faded quicker than the ones on my arms and back. Shoes and clothing that rubs the area is a crappy spot too. And of course, anything that sees the sun lol Keep it covered in sun screen and it'll last twice as long as if you don't. Keep your skin moisturized as well. They won't stay perfect forever, but you'll be able to avoid any touch ups for a long time if your artist knows what they're doing.
Come back and re watch this video and noticed how the artist isn’t wearing gloves and the machine is probably also dirty. I’d say this is a cleanliness issue before saying it’s an ink issue.
Okay so you're going to trust a guy to give you a tattoo without gloves, when you know he probably wipes his ass with that hand!? I don't even blame the tattooer you should have spotted that and you better real quick.

She was a b!+ch & acted like I was wrong. Lol.. she came back a couple days later with a thick scab across the whole thing. Lucky for her it was a quarter size tattoo. I told her she should have listened to me. 😂 she didn't loose any but it was faded af.
Teri baatein sun k to lag rha hai bhai. Tattoo banwana hi nhi chahiye 😂
Did the scar stay there or go away
This dude chose the wrong background music for this short. It should've been "Hell to the no, hell to the no no noooooo!"
How much does that tattoo costs you and were that a studio in which you get it or outdoor ?
Oh man the no gloves thing got me
I’m sorry about your tattoo damage. Maybe you can make your our Lady of Guadalupe and ROSES tattoo with a marker
Not only tattoo artist without gloves. They could be allergic or sensitive to the type of ink that was used
My tats only took a week in a half to heal but mines never looked like this wtf😭😭😭
Did it heal? What do you think went wrong?
THIS IS NOT NORMAL! the skin color don’t matters and even black people can get color and even white tattoos.. it whil just turn out darker all in all
I'm black and Indian and have colored tattoos ! This has nothing to do with skin tone !
@@learn_grow_learnmore9123 what does that have to do with dark skin rejecting ink more 💀
That tattoo is wack bro
That’s what I’m saying bro it was ugly from the start anyways😂😂😂
You really let him tattoo you with no gloves on😭😭😭
Thank you , I was doubting if I want a tattoo but now you give me a solid reason to not have it but also saving this video in case my future children want some thank you tattoo it’s a sin
Lol,Get it done properly and you wouldnt have an issue 🙄
Bro when I seen no gloves and how that picture just looks I knew it was fucked up 😂
Where is artist gloves bro
That red ink mannng got a spot test
I’d say start by wearing gloves and cleaning the environment before blaming the ink. The artist didn’t even wear gloves. I don’t even tattoo and I know the basics of a clean environment.
That be one of the ugliest tattoo hell na 💀
Tattoo from local hairdresser be like 😂
When getting a tattoo you supposed to treat that tattoo until it heals ❤
I have a tatoo just below my bicep. It bled so much and my skin rejected the ink. I got scared and my tattoo artist told me not to worry and there u go the redness dissappeared the next day...my tattoo turned out fine
Nahhhh imma need my payment back fr
Bruh put the ointment on the client 😂
I’m so sorry. Hopefully you can sue.
ive had a tattoo get an infection this is beyond that. Tattoo infections arent even that bad. This is insane.
You don’t need gloves if you do the tattoo your self but definitely is a must if someone else does it😂
The nails being dirty was a no for me
I will say the area should have been sterilized before and after, then covered with wraps for healing and keeping bacteria out. I think that is more of the cause then the nails. If this action wasn’t taken, dirt and bacteria could’ve gotten in from anywhere after the session. Pausing the video, I only saw one nail covered in ink. The rest looked fine
Seeing those dirty fingernails and no gloves wouldve sent me running 😮
😂😂😂😂 like a Olympic track star !
You get what you pay for!
"It was free"
If you ever have such a problem, go to a tattoo artist and apply the ointment that he tells you to apply. Also, do not eat sweet or sour things for 3 days.
Did they amputate you hand after this?
first day, looked cool, second day, it looked cooler, third day coolest, rest of the DAMAGED
Oh no, it real nice untill what ever happened. I'm so sorry, I hope it heals and it can be fixed. Best of luck.
I used phat cat inks about 15yrs ago, did the rolling stones tounge on my leg (side of calf)
It looked nowhere like this, but it Def rejected the ink and had a million issues healing.
Even in prison, prisoners won’t tatt with out gloves 😣
Who was expecting him to have his hand chopped at the end?
I’d be so pissed and be feeling like such a dumbass for letting someone with no gloves tattoo me
Ah, allergic to red?
No gloves and you’re asking why this happened lmaooooo
That’s why for my first tat I’m getting black ink because red ink is cool an all but idk how my skin would react to it💯💯
damn it looked great what is happening here?
Omg 😳 this never happened too me
I only use black ink
Now I scare too use red ink
Come back and re watch this video and noticed how the artist isn’t wearing gloves and the machine is probably also dirty. I’d say this is a cleanliness issue before saying it’s an ink issue.
Okay so you're going to trust a guy to give you a tattoo without gloves, when you know he probably wipes his ass with that hand!? I don't even blame the tattooer you should have spotted that and you better real quick.
NO GLOVES? 😭
I'd be getting blood tests for sure
Bro don’t have gloves on 🤦🏾♂️
😭 like I know how they get infected but like how bro how do you get fcked up this bad I have over 7 done in house no gloves and all came out good

Looks like the sun ate that shit up for dinner.
Nothing to do with artist , dude forgot to constantly put on petroleum jelly n got his consequences
Me kal banwane ja rha tha....ab ise dekh kar irada badal rha he...
Your skin rejected the ink more likely the red, its know to be a hard colour to use.
