@@jaidee1102 Xentrix was heavily derivative of Metallica but probably aged better. Sort of the same with Slayer and Venom I'd say (I'm not a big fan of either of those bands but yk).

this song has so much power in it... I learned about Xentrix in 1993, when a RoadRunner miniCD called Songs of Pain was out. It had 5 songs by 5 bands (Obituary, Defiance, Deicide, Xentrix and the mighty Sadus). Whoever bought any of those releases had this CD for free. I bought the End Complete and there I was... listening to this song from the miniCD... astonished... I couldn't believe it... this band was huge... It is so sad that they exist no more...
Some of the guys from Xentrix have started a band called Hellfighter. They sound awesome. They are on the net, free downloads on myspace, under hellfightermetal. Hellfighter play Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival, Derby, UK, on Sat, 16 Aug, on the unsigned stage.

Yes its catchy, and being about two decades old your damn right its nothing new! Comparing it to one of the best thrash albums ever (And Justice..) is always going to leave you underwhelmed im afraid, some albums are just in a class in there own. Calling you a noob and a poser was kinda un-needed... i retract my silly statement :p im thinking your just fed up of bands being lionized more than they perhaps deserve. It is catchy though.
I'm not really bashing any bands, I'm just kinda bored how no thrash bands, especially today (well...MOST) play it safe. One of the only bands that have gone far as going to death/thrash would have to be Warbringer from their second album onwards. Xentrix is nice for a listen or two but finding a really unique band is like finding a diamond in the rough. When I found bands like Paradox and Artillery, I nearly shat my pants.

They're just your typical thrash band taking the whole judicial/governmental lyrics and ideas from the ...And Justice For All album. Seriously, hundreds of bands have done the same thing and it gets a little fucking old after awhile. It'd good, it's catchy, but it's nothing new.
