Depends on the shows. I've noticed that at large festivals, pits will suck since a lot of people are just waiting for a couple of the headliners. At more smaller shows with 2-3 bands playing, the pits will be going the entire concert.

Yeah, Vinny was on their first 2 albums before leaving the band, along with the lead guitarist. And passed away from puffer fish poisoning by consuming. Didn't need a license back then, but his death helped made that a law.
RIP Vinny. My father is actually is actually the other guitarist in this video playing the white guitar. He did the necrology demo with them but some bad shit went down and he got no credit. Said Vinny was one of the heaviest hitters on the drums he knew.

Yeah I've found a couple of riffs that are direct copies, there is one in this and one in skull fracturing nightmare for starters, I can't remember the others...
My bad, my bad! Though I consider Cannibal Corpse more of a Florida band (then again, I only like their early works), but Suffocation and Immolation both rule. Also, totally forgot about Blood Feast. And Anthrax is meh. Aaaaand, I will add Cro-Mags to the list.
Demolition Hammer, Immolation, Blood Feast, Suffocation, and Overkill. New York makes some damn fine metal.
Don't forget Prong as well.
Don’t forget merauder
and carnivore
Don't forget Nuclear Assault.
Mortician out of Yonkers! And how about Pro-Pain.

Without quite knowing how to explain it, to my ears, there's a hint of Mike Muir in the vocalist's voice.
The fact that this video only as 200k views pisses me the fuck off!

hugely underrated. if they would've came out in 85 they might have been legends like exodus
Same with Solstice and to an extent, Exhorder.
True, these bands just came too late when thrsh was already over it's peak and death metal was rising.
For a band as obscure as they are, 200k views is a lot.
