I havent read not one comment on Internet saying that Xentrix isnt underrated, so I guess with this (internet) they got at last the world recognition of the great metal band they are... also, the Big 4 was a name that metal media came with (i guess), i think all thrashers around the globe agreed there are far more top metal bands than four.... just saying XD
Yes sir I would highly recommend them especially if your a Thrash fanatic. Start off with their most successful album "For Whose Advantage"! If you get the bonus CD it includes this song too on it.
Fucking love this band. The comparisons back in the day to Metallica I thought were very unfair,this band really deserved so much more credit than they got. I had all the early stuff on cassette and totally wore it out,finally replaced it all on cd now (yes I’m an old git now but still love Xentrix)
The only popular thrash metal bands out of the 4 that I think got the recognition they deserved was Megadeth and Slayer. Sure Dave Mustaine is douche, but you cannot deny the high caliber of good thrash metal songs off of their first 4 albums. Slayer is Slayer. For some fucked reason bands like Exodus, Testament, Xentrix, Heathen, and Kreator never got the recognition they deserved. In my mind there is no thrash 4. Its impossible. There is true dedicated thrash, and poser garbage thrash.
Hail Xentrix...one of the old school great metal bands that didn't last for some reason, miss that period of time of metal.
