Because more expensive phones have wireless charging which glass accommodates much better, not to mention the stigma of a more premium construction. This phone would have had a plastic back had leather not been chosen. And yes, plastic will facilitate wireless charging also, but I digress.
Same here, I wanted the stylus but the 5g one easy 200 and I only wanted to spend like 70 bucks it was, it gets a lot of hate, how is it treating you, mine is good so far the camera gets a lot of hate and I like it too
I had the moto 5g 2022 how does serious issue with the battery bloating I would say make sure you have full insurance if you have this through a carrier help me out I ended up getting the new 2024 they dropped the remaining payments
Its only worth it if you need a backup, or second phone, not so much if downgrading from a flagship level device. You will definately notice the difference
As someone coming from a Revvl 6 pro, this phone is definitely an upgrade. You notice it immediately in the battery life and responsiveness. The display is the same so im not really complaining

This phone looks pretty decent but Motorola should have made a better display on it. And even though the processor in it seems ok, Motorola cheaped out there too. There’s no reason why they couldn’t even have used the snapdragon 6 gen 1 that the G Stylus 2023 5g had. Even though the Samsung A15 5g seems like a lesser phone, they put more effort into that phone and it’ll slaughter Motorola G 5g 2024 on updates. Motorola sucks at doing good support on their devices.

I bought this phone, but it's struggling to perform even basic tasks. In the end, I guess I can't expect too much for the price I paid. I'll be switching back to a Pixel phone once I find a good deal for Christmas. I had a Pixel 6 before this.
Literally every phone is a better phone than this if you get a global unlocked phone second hand like the pixel 6 or older or the oneplus 9 or older. I really don't get why people waste their money and get held ransom by their carriers. I had a friend at work who leased through tmobile as he is very cheap despite the fact he likes to get 3 to 7 years out of his phones. He could of literally got a pixel 6 xl for the same price with the option to unlock the bootloader to get like 10 years or more out of it. Yes I know batteries in older phones can be an issue but you can replace it for pretty cheap and would probably up the value.
only down side on motorolla phones are the updates otherwise they are the best especially for the price i been using moto for 12 years i switched to samsung and others I always return to motorolla.

As soon as Boost Mobile got this phone.... they immediately listed it for 10 dollars.... it does ship with Android 14, although, you'll probably have to wait for Android 17 before Motorola gives this phone Android 15..... its beyond sad how slow they are upgrading OS's

I have had this phone for 2 weeks and i am sorry i never tried MOTO before! I paid $170 for it and i got more than my monies worth imho. First off the build feels solid and really good quality. The features are crazy good! The 8gb ram is sweet and 256k of mem is sweet as well. I guess it's a matter of what you want in a phone. Me..I can't really find anything to criticize based on the cost of the phone and what i need in a phone. It by far has the best build quality and feel than any other phone i have owned.

Thank you for this video this is kind of funny because this is actually kind of describing my perfect device. I love Samsung I seriously think they're my favorite brand of Android device but I really like Motorola's as well. I know this isn't really a big selling point but as a usually impaired person that has trouble seeing anyways I don't care much about the screen what I care about is does it have a good keyboard that's easy to type on does it have a good sound most importantly which my Samsung Galaxy s21 totally fails at does it have a good battery life. Battery life performance for day-to-day tasks like downloading audiobooks and sending and receiving text messages and phone calls and a good speaker or super important things to me. I don't want to trade in my Galaxy s21 because I know it's far more powerful but if I was in the phone market today I think I might would buy this 😊

A fast refresh rate is such a stupid and worthless feature on a 170 dollar phone. What do you can have faster scrolling? Just change the animation speeds in developer options if you want the phone to “feel snappier”. So instead you get a low res screen so you can shove a dumb feature most can’t even comprehend into the phone. Samsung does full hd oled 120 on cheap phones because they make the displays.

I been with boost when they were Virgin mobile and they took over I was paying 35 flat a month for 10 gigs of data and no hot spot until I called them like a little over a year ago and wanted to change my plan to the one I have now and it's cheaper and better. But no I didn't have to get a plan with the phone for $10.88

I don't use the fingerprint sensor, so this phone is fine for me. All I do is watch TH-cam videos, so this is fine.
