step sides were a cool thing for many years. I remember when they redesigned the trucks in the late 80's, everyone had a step side 4x4 with roll bars and it had to be a standard. Step sides today are no longer popular

The bed is “SMC” sheet molded compound, basically thick durable plastic which is actually much lighter than fiber glass, easier to repair, and not as brittle.
@@royboy605 I've never seen the magnetic ride control option on that year truck. Pretty cool. I'd do PDR repair on the dents and make it mint once again!

4.8 and 5.3 are the same...only difference is the dimples in the pistons heads
