@@Hannaaafy Yes! Black with silver is the POSH! As an add-on comment, I actually like my leather goods to have a bit of a "lived in" look. I consider that a time honored, well loved and used accessory. Sort of like the age lines on a beautiful face that's lived a good, long life. :)

Thank you for this great review and comparison the curated one with the Celine. The clasp on the Celine bag is the only reason I have been going to store to buy for the last 3 years and every time I leave empty handed understanding why I did not buy the bag in the previous trip. It is sticking out so much that I am sure I would hit that clasp in every door and many wall and other surfaces. Also my fragile dusters and kimonos probably get ruin by touching that clasp.
Very detailed and honest review, this is why we should watch an Emma review before buying a bag. I hope more brands send bags to Emma as opposed to bloggers who brainlessly say everything is nice, that would not be convincing at all. As for the bag, first time heard of the brand but seems like a beautiful bag and I wouldn’t consider it being a rip-off because it is a complete different rectangular shape. I am curious how the leather is for smooth version since the Celine bag has amazing leather. I can’t agree though with the logic saying something is not a rip-off just because it is a much lower price tag, if it looks completely the same at a lower price then that’s exactly what a rip-off is, now luckily this bag is not the same.

You always do such good in-depth reviews. It’s almost as if you could marry certain elements of both bags together you’d have the perfect one. For the price it looks really good and I also prefer the rectangular shape. Definitely a good option for those of us that can’t afford the lovely Pheobe 👜. And if that’s a new camel colour it looks lovely! x

Excellent presentation! Oh this black bag is so classic... I'm French and I remember my grandmother having a croco black one almost like this, and my mother too but in cognac croco leather... I'm a grandmother myself now and I too own a couple of handbags of this type, one navy blue, the other black, which I bought in the late 80s! #firsthandvintage ! :) They are always timeless and chic.

Love the bag for the same reasons you say in this video. I to love (REALLY LOVE) the Céline box bag: simple , minimalistic, so freaking timeless and goes with EVERYTHING AND EVERY STYLE but yea but 🙄 the price... starting from around 2500€ i mean thats only for people who make huge money or having a rich hubby/family and even then. Lots of us maybe even can't work (for many reasons) healt (like myself), childeren who ya need to take care about, no education, ..... or do work but not in an office or so but as a cleaner, in daycare, ...
And like myself i adore fashion and this bag yes i need to save a bit but not for years and years. And the Curated did an excellent job. Looks amazing, wearable, yes same Céline vibes but for a 10th of that price. 🤷🏻♀️👌🏻🥰🤩

Smaller strap not a deal breaker for me. I kinda like the baguette look as well as how it looked on you with the longer strap and as a clutch. Thanks for your honest review.

Really love your detailed product reviews Emma. Very very helpful. That looks like a great bag, and at a similar price point to high street brands like Radley. I just got the camel coat and I will get the bag as well. Leather lined bags keep their shape much better than fabric lined bags.

For this season, they changed hardwear. It is not shiny anymore! Got a bit vintagee. I have purchased it after watching your review! The bag is a bit heavier, but I like it !

I bought this bag in October 2022 after watching your video. The back of the lid has a crocodile effect, and the front pocket has a slight bellows to make it easier to open. The long strap has three holes, and the short strap texture is a fine pattern on the left and right sides of the bag. seems to be improving.
Are you still loving your bag? I just ordered it in smooth black leather. How long did it take you to get your bag? I’m in the US.

Excellent review. I had never heard of this brand before you mentioned it. Is this the only style of handbag that they do or do they have others? Love the sustainability aspect and that they really listen to consumers.
This is the only one they have at the moment, as they are a fairly new brand and try to reduce waste, although I am sure they will develop/expand the classic styles as the business grows 👍🏼
I think the narrow pockets could be used for mail or even lose bills (money). I think for the price is seems like a very good bag. Thanks again Emma for another wonderful review.

I bought this bag in croco and just adore it, however, I've never used it. It's simply too small for me and too stiff. I put my wallet in, and that's all that fits. It won't expand at all, as you pointed out, so even adding my phone and a lipstick makes it difficult to close. If it were just a few centimeters bigger, it would be perfect. Especially since the two envelope pockets are essentially useless. Therefore waste of money for me though I recognize that others will find it perfect.
The Celine medium classic bag (the size you have, Emma) is actually £2,850 GBP. The £2,300 price you reference is for the small size. So it’s even more expensive!

My guess would be that the short strap you can use in more formal situations, like at a wedding, a funeral, or a state dinner the day you become Queen 😊. A long cross body strap is rather casual and city life everyday wear.

I like it but its essentially identical to the classic (aside form the clasp) and I prefer the clasp on the classic 👍🏼

Pamela Atkinson just black for the moment but I can imagine that they’ll branch out into other colours as it’s been a very successful product for them. But what I love about The Curated is that they’re so conscious about waste so they only make small amounts to trial their products 🙌🏼 They started off with only coats and now they have silk, jewellery, bags, and a classic trench. So they’re slow growers but slow is best 💚

I don't think it is a heavy bag and is definitely fine for wearing all day but it is a little heavier than Judith 👍🏼

Im not vegan, so I don't really know vegan specific alternatives and it would depend on budget but Mango may be a good place to start for high street, or Stella McCartney for designer. 👍🏼
