I think a breakdown guide goinh chapter by chapter, talking about who's most important to friend, cool cut scenes, which crops to focus on, that kinda stuff?
I'll add that to my list lol. Right now I'm focusing on Magical Melody since this was the last AWL video I planned to make for a while lol
Fun Fact if you skip meeting Vinnie through your playthrough and go to the last cutscene if your child takes over the farm it'll have Takakura introducing Vinnie to your child... That's amazing attention to detail imo

On top of Vinnie's friendship level, your luck level (daily checking TV) makes a difference! In my own testing, on a "not great" luck day, I had ~73% success rate at max friendship, whereas on an "amazing" luck day, I had a ~93% success rate at max friendship. Same hybrid, same # of seeds!
I've found this to be fairly true too
I double checked and I had "good" look the day of this recording, so there's definitely some truth to that
Yeah I noticed this too, I had amazing luck one day and I only got like 5 regular seeds from gen 2 hybrid combining.
Id also LOVE a video on your advice on seed making, trees, etc!

I never got to finish AWL as a kid, was much more into Magical Melody. Even then, I never had the focus to dive deep into the trees or planting side of things. Your tips so far have been crucial to my play through with the remake hahaha Thank you for the great content!!
the only annoying thing is having to mix the seeds ONE BY ONE. even with the seed maker, it's inevitable and it makes me want to skip it altogether
I feel you lol. It would be nice to just put in a stack of 50 of each seed and see what shakes out in terms of success and failures

I don't think you can get S rank fruit tree fruit from fertilizer. When I tried it, it did not work, I still got B ranked crops even though I used fertilizer twice a day.
Really? Thats very interesting and gives Vinnie even more utility lol
You can get an S rank tree from fertilizer doing it twice a day if you plant trees Spring 1 and fert everyday on but it takes an entire year. Give or take a day or two in year 2 for the fall tree crops to finish leveling, your trees will turn blue slowly.
I unfortunately tried it before looking it up and thought having 2 S rank seeds combine will make Vinnie produce S rank seeds.
I just restarted my whole game from wasting so much G on fertilizer for those trees in the first year. 😂

@@Ikkitsune Yeah! There are a handful of mods on Nexus, one of which returns the names the original ones, but I haven't gone too deep into modding since it's a lot less straightforward than other games like Stardew lol

Yes! I wanted to get all my SOS: AWL projects finished before starting back up on MM, and this was the last one. I'm hoping to get the next video for that series out in mid to late August.
I have a problem, i combinated all normal seeds, and still dont get that one trophy :(
If you're talking about getting all the strange crops, you need to make every gen 2 hybrid for trees and crops, as well as making all the blue crops and trees.

BTW Vinnie makes that face when you give him a ripe carrot, he makes it clear he HATES carrots, but he doesn't give that reaction to the seeds :P

I’m on Spring day 2 does that mean I missed it
The best thing about Vinny is that it's impossible to miss. If you're on Year 2, and you stay up late enough for Takakura to enter his house, you will get the cutscene no matter what.
