- If you are an M-tech student in IIT/NIT or any AICTE approved engineering college in India and if you leave the M-Tech course in between if you get something better after 1 year or so, do you have to return your stipend?
What does the AICTE rule say about this? what did students do earlier? did students return their stipend when they left their M-tech course in between?

one of my known one got stipend from iit and changes college to another iit and left that iit, none of the stipend was asked to return.
I am in iitkgp and the rule is written that you have pay back if you leave, but no bond was signed. 😅 And no original documents were asked to submit , only xerox are submitted.
It purely depends on college you are leaving and the new college you are applying ( whether its a new score card or same )
Directly mail the admission authority and ask them, that's the best solution.
Like In IIT Gandhinagar they give option, if you refund stipend of 1 year we give you a diploma degree for your stay and if you don't want that you can keep your stipend.
So, totally depends on college.

What happens if somebody leaves mtech from iit without informing the administration? Is there any action will be taken against him?
Sir stipend wapis tub hi karna padta hai jub apko TC chahiye hota warna nai,. me NIT Rourkela Mtech Final year student hu....mera 2 friends 2nd sem me Mtech choor k chale gae the or to be very frank they use to say ki unko January tak stipend aaya tha...😃😃

Sir same gate score ko again use kr sakte hain na...agr koi nit chor kr dosre nit ....me different branch lena ho tow .. stipend jb tak ka mila hai tb tak nahi melega but us k bad ka melega na

Dude.. there is nothing like that... There r few who mentions there must 60 percentage at all levels.. I got placed even with 5.8 pointer from NIT K.

Only for the time you are there. But yes the fees are paid in advance

Milna chahiye. Just be ready with your original doc. With your original have you qualified GATE?
what if someone got admission in IISc and want to withdraw admission ,after three months satying in the campus, can he use the same gate score for next year admission.( withdrawing admiaaion because not intrested in this domain ).
