Hey man, thank you. Seriously. When I was younger, I watched this video and followed step by step, just for fun. When I finished, I drew this same girl over and over again, with small touches of my own (sometimes she had a cellphone in her hand, sometimes she was looking sad or surprised, and so on). And these "small touches" started to turn into big changes. I changed and changed the drawing until every one I made was a totally different one. I discovered I was really, really into art. Nowadays, I make art to help my parents and sustain my house. Sometimes the money my parents make isn't enough, and without this video - where my passion started - I really don't know where I might be right now. Maybe even without a house to live. So thanks. (and sorry for any English error)

Ok what you can do is test on a scrap piece of paper different sizes of pupils and irises until you gat one you like then I just go over to a window and trace it or just draw it out similar on the good copy I always have trouble with proportions but I use this technique
I had the same problem, try blending the pupil with the rest of the eye by darkening the iris or lightening the pupil :) this is a little late but watevs

I tend to draw the face outline first, in a sketchy way, then work on the eyes... It's easier to make the face proportioned right for me that way... To each her/his own, I guess. Great work. Keep it up!

When I draw I press down too hard and when I try to erase it it leaves a mark, how can I stop doing this?
Even when I press down lightly it leaves a mark
I used a mechanical pencil and it worked fine for me. The mechanical pencil does work really well for me too. I always press lightly.

I hve been drawing since i was 5 but still m mot that gud at drawing especially when it comes to imagination. I jst used to print a given picture wid a different scale but ur channel helped me learn more of art n stuff especially anime...thnx ur doing a great job dude..hats off😄😄

This video was extremely helpful I was having trouble with the angle of the eyes and where to place them. I thought it was interesting to start the whole picture with the eyes and work your way around them.

I first saw this video when I was about 11 and I was so proud of what I had managed draw along with you that I took it to school and drew it up again on the chalkboard (with my teachers permission) for everyone to see.
