Your Eden jacket is going to be stunning. I’m currently wearing the Safiya trousers, which I made as a 3/4 length and I love them, the pockets are amazing, my are plain black cotton and I always get people ask where I got them from, which is strange as they are the most plain thing I have made! Thanks for the vlog ☺️
I am not surprised people comment on your Safiyas, they seem to be a very popular pattern and I expect they think yours look so good they must be shop bought ☺️👍🏻

Summer has come for us too in Canada, LOL. Love the coat, it would be late spring or early winter wear for us here, the pattern is lovely.

The sizing seems strange for the tank and annoying they don't give you the finished measurements, but yours looks great and a perfect wardrobe staple. We need raincoats at the moment!
Totally agree Hales, the sizing is very weird…I will have to play with the pattern a fair bit I think. Definitely more raincoat weather than vest too weather lol 😆
Would you show us how to bind the seams with bias binding??

Hi, I’m a newish sewist and I’m totally enjoying your vlog....I actually sewed my first real garment, the Lotta dress🤗 On a side note....I keep hearing on the news that the UK is still in lock down, I’m in PA and we are open, if you’ve gotten vaccinated you can go almost anywhere sans mask. I’m not trying be political, I’m really just curious....I see some of the UK vloggers I follow are going to sewing classes and shopping in fabric store, the kids are in school, etc. what’s up? Thanks
Hello! I’m so glad you’re enjoying my vlogs and fantastic that you’ve made the Lotta, you’ve beaten me, i have it but still not made it. We aren’t in Lockdown here in the Uk, however they are still advising people work from home if they can, our schools opened again a couple of months ago and although shops, cafes, hotels etc are open there are restrictions to numbers and we have to wear masks pretty much everywhere except outdoors. Fingers crossed all remaining restrictions will go on 19th July 🤞🏻
@@StitchRipRepeat thank you for your reply. The American news would have you believe that the UK is literally locked in your homes. I don’t really watch the news but my husband had said something and I just thought I’d go right to the source so to speak. Fingers crossed everything returns to normal soon. Thanks again....wish me luck, “ The Betty Dress” is next on my list😳
