Congrats on the 5 years! I had that kit from G&G and couldn’t have done it without the video. I agree with you about the strap length being too short. My other issue is that there are no fastenings on the outside pockets, and I wish I’d done a more secure internal pocket. Having said that, it’s my handbag of choice and I’ve been using it for almost a year now.
I made that bag from the GG kit. Must admit I hate it. I gave it to my daughter. The pockets annoyed me so much getting things in and out under that flap!!! I do agree with you sewing those pockets on. They were really tricky on the corner parts.

I would definitely ditch the webbing and put new webbing on with sliders so you can wear it over your shoulder or cross body.
Yah!!! 5 years and still going strong. Lovely to watch and listen as always. I can see that you needed to buy from the fabric stash lol, it’s so difficult but how do we say no. I’m not going to the Fashion and Embroidery at the NEC this year to avoid temptation so will be sewing all weekend instead. I have that pattern book but haven’t made anything yet and after watching the Northern Sewl Sisters have just ordered the Avenir jumpsuit, which I think you may have made? Looks like it suits many different body types. Of course I have a few projects in line before that one lol ❤

I actually have that kit but haven't sewn it up yet. Yours looks so nice that I am tempted to start it. I don't have a small bag like that and it would be useful. Pity about the instructions. I have made Noodlehead bags before and their instructions are great.
