Because we are still choosing to be seperate. That's the answer Jesus gives in A Course in Miracles. ACIM goes one step further than Advaita Vedanta and lays down forgiveness as the path to enlightenment. Forgive everything, even the world because there is no world out there. The projection is coming from the unconscious mind. Gary Renard clears it all up, check out his interviews on the teachings of A Course in Miracles. Sometimes Advaita Vedanta just goes round and round.

you can believe whatever you like, but it doesn't necessarily have to be true. if you had realized the truth in yourself, you would not need to quote ACIM, which is basically just a book.
