- These profound practice teachings on meditation and realising the Self, as taught by Sri Ramana, were taken from various sources/texts.
Ramana Maharshi ( 1879 -1950) was an Indian sage and jivanmukta (liberated being). He was born Venkataraman Iyer, but is mostly known by the name Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. He was born in Tiruchuli, Tamil Nadu, India. In 1895, an attraction to the sacred hill Arunachala and the 63 Nayanmars was aroused in him and in 1896, at the age of 16, he had a "death-experience" where he became aware of a "current" or "force" which he recognized as his true "I" or "Self".

“What you are looking for is what is looking” (Ramana Maharshi). “What you are looking for is where you are looking from” (St. Francis). “What you are looking for is you” (Osho). “Never left the house, you are looking for the way home” (Nisargadatta Maharaj). They all said the same…..😃❤️🙏🏾
I thought St. Francis was: “What you’re looking for is what is doing the looking.” My little edit from a more psychological perspective is: What you are looking for is what you are looking with (a pure heart and clean mind or your conditioning)
@@auggiemarsh8682 because you are looking with the “thought” and it’s residue. It’s an inward you that is always unfolding with that what you label by thought such as ^
Ignore the Cause and stay with the “be”.
And Rumi: "What you are seeking is seeking you!"
If I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard. Because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to begin with. (Dorothy)

It's pretty refreshing all the space you allow for one to not know if the video is still playing or not! It's pretty rare and appreciated.

What is success in the final analysis? I guess it depends on perspective and if you have a perspective then you are not fully identified to non being. Paradoxes abound.
The one who appears to have the perspective, the one for whom conceptions of paradoxes appear, "that one", should be inquired into, tracing it back to it's source.
"Go back the way you came." - The Maharshi
16:54 of this recording explains it.
Wenn man es kapiert hat, ist alles einfach. Das dauert lange, sehr viel Übung ist notwendig. Es stimmt was er sagt, hinter Form ist die Freiheit. Ein Meer von Ruhe.
What is that background flute? Beautiful❤

wise to stick to ramana s own instructions and best avoid the talks which rely on translators comprehension of ramana s words in conversations.
