    SUPPLIES
    For solid card stock paper, I used the 12x12 textured paper from Hobby Lobby, and it cut beautifully. I chose dark purple, dark blue and white. I also like using Encore 12x12 card stock paper and AC Cardstock. Online, my go-to is the 12x12 Cardstock Shop: svgcuts.me/textured-cardstock
    The patterned paper I used (two sheets) is from a mini collection called Shine Bright by Paper Studio. Heavier-weight paper for the roof panels would have curved better, but overall I liked it.
    I got my colored vellum from Amazon (amzn.to/3VPMml6) as well as the ink pads I used (amzn.to/45MxpF0). Having lights inside the bus looks really cool! I recommend an AC-powered string of 50 warm white LED lights (amzn.to/3zyF9OC).
    For glue, I like Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive (amzn.to/2vJNoRw), Art Glitter Glue (amzn.to/3QDRx5L) or Bearly Arts Precision Craft Glue (amzn.to/3UpLLFO).
    You can see more specific supply details in the PDF Menu document that's included in your download.

    I too am happy to see you showing the design process. It will be great for beginners. And it's like we are sitting in the same room crafting together. Thank you for your designs.

    I have done this with the other tutorial twice, but it didn't come out great. I was pretty new to paper crafting and used solid score lines. I only recently discovered dashed score lines and it has been a game changer for me! This video is much more in-depth, and I will be trying it again today! The purple is super cute!

    I have lots of paper from Joann, Micheal’s, Stampin Up, and other online stores. My challenge is all the 8.5x11 paper that I have. I would like to be able to use it but the designs take a lot of work to separate the pieces into smaller sets that will fit on the small paper. Also, some of the designs just have bigger pieces sometimes.

      @svgcuts  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@tanyac9428 ah, gotcha! Well, I have good news! This CAN be made using 8.5 x 11” paper! Its parts can be rearranged to fit, and none of them is too large for that paper size. Just use the “separated” bus in the Extras folder.

    Is there a specific reason you chose to use the dash line version instead of the solid line?

  • @CrozetMom
    @CrozetMom 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Did you have to change out your blade to the scoring blade or the scoring tool? I didn’t see you do that part?

    • @svgcuts
      @svgcuts  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@CrozetMom nope, I opted for the dashed cut lines for my fold lines. The blade cuts them along with the shapes, and it’s nice and easy to fold.
      You can use a scoring wheel or stylus instead, and in that case, you’d use the files in the Solid Score Lines folder instead. Once they’re on your mat in the software, you simply change the solid lines’ Operation to Score.
      Both options are popular, it’s just a personal preference.

      @@svgcuts makes sense. I didn’t realize that was an option -that’s great to know!!

    Yes I made this one before & I agree that it wasn’t in depth. A lot of you videos are not in depth.& sometimes I have extra pieces that I don’t know where they should have gone. & because of this sometimes I go else where to purchase files. 😢
