- You know Cricut has a limited Print then cut size so how can we full take advantage of the size? EASY! We will be using the free templates I have created to fit as much as we possibly can! This is going to help you waste less space and materials. We will also go over a few more hacks and tips to working with Print then cut including using offsets, bleed and more!

Girl.......cutting your holographic vinyl to match the template....genious!!! I was having to cut it after and match up the line this is GREAT!!! I just made a cup I have to print the decals like 4 times to get it just right and wasted so much vinyl because I wasn't filling the page will not do that again!!

I spent all day yesterday and half of today trying to make stickers using both the create sticker function and the offset function because they both was running super slow. I eventually gave up.
Thanks for the great tips! I'm trying to understand the difference between sticker paper and printable vinyl. Since you are putting the uv laminate over it; does it matter which one you use to print your stickers on? There are so many options/names/prices of sticker paper out there that it is confusing!
it can be pretty confusing for sure. Sticker paper is typically more on the paper end of things and I know thats like a DUH moment but think of it like the texture of paper. When it comes to printable vinyl its going to be a smoother product less on the fiber end of things and more on the plastic end of the spectrum. I find it really depends on what you are wanting to use it for that determines which product you want to use. I don't put my stickers on things that get wet so I like to use sticker paper a lot. But printable vinyl seems to hold up better to getting wet. None of them are going to work on a car well or something that sits out in the elements. While some can be waterproof and water resistant none of them even with a UV protectant laminate will hold up to sun. The fading is caused from the ink and not that materials. Inkjet ink is just not made to not fade. I hope this helps!

It depends on the material. You need to try test cuts with whatever materials you are using as all materials and machines are different. I typically use medium cardstock
Amazing tutorial! I am new to cricut and was having a hard time understanding why there is so much waste of paper🤭 can you suggest sticker sheet that don’t have their brand splattered all over it. I’d like to print my own brand on the back of them. Thank you!

I am barely 6 months in to using my Cricut and this was so helpful!!! The only question I have is what cut setting /pressure is best to cut the sticker (and potential laminate) through the backing?
You will want to do test cuts as I mention in the video. All materials and machine are different so what works for me will possibly not work for you. I recommend starting somewhere in the light or medium cardstock settings and the adjust based on how those cut

You just do exactly this but you would use a heavier cut setting

@@rosac8168 any file on your computer will take up space. Yes you can delete files you won’t use.
Do you have to have a laminate layer on top and can it be as simple as contact paper if so?
You don’t and I wouldn’t use contact paper that’s not meant for this kind of situation.
Can you use these on epoxied stainless steel tumblers?

Hi Corrine, I watch your TH-cam videos a lot because I love the way you show/teach. I have a bit of a problem because I live in the UK our paper size isn't the same as yours it is A4. Because there must be a few followers from the UK, can you give instructions for the templates for the UK size paper . I am sure I can not be the only one from all those miles away who loves to learn from you. Thankyou 🎉
The template is in the free pack of templates. Nothing changes other than your template size.

Thanks for template and your hard work. I've tried using it and DS tells me my image is too large? The template is the size it should be, so I don't understand.
You may need to adjust it down just .01 from the size listed. Design space has been a real pain about it lately

What is the purpose of opening the lock? I always opened it didn’t realize you can keep it locked when adjusting sizes

How do you ensure your stickers are fade proof? Is it the ink or paper quality that matters ?
For uv protection you need to use a uv safe ink which is more on the industrial side of printing

Question how you get it to cut the image. When it to the cut part. I'm just getting the template cut.
You need to make sure number one to hide or delete the template. I’m betting your just flattening everything but if you do that it will cut only the templaye

Calibrate the machine, check for software updates, change from live to beta or vice versa, check for firmware updates.

Ok I got the template sent to my email but when I download it, it won't open to extract it!!! Help I need this so bad
The folder won’t open? If so I would recommend you delete and try downloading again. If it still won’t open I would google the issue and see what that says because I’ve never had that issue so I don’t know how to fix that
It wont let me send the template to the back! The option is grayed out
If it’s grayed out it may already be all the way to the back. you can also simply drag it to the bottom of the layers panel
after arranged everything on template, clicked attach, clicked make it, and the panel said image too large... I fit everything inside the 7.44x9.44..what did I do wrong?
You may need to size it down to 9.43 design space has been a little weird since the last update. Also be sure the designs are in that size range as well
And also make sure you have the right load type setting for your machine set too
Hey Corinne. That was a super helpful video!!!! I am focusing on trying to a larger sized print for my HTV and am so new to crafting and Cricut etc! I uploaded the templates for the Print and cut. I believe both the templates upload with the size measurements showing on the page in design space. How can I get rid of those? I switch ed it from basic to print and cut..but the words are still attached, Also unless I am doing something wrong it is not allowing the maximum size when I put my design on top. I am not doing all separate stickers I am doing one design with words above and below the image. How do I get it to cut out the design and the words as one piece and still get the maximum size. And finally, I hit blank canvas and there is no color option highlighted to change it to blue etc as you were showing, Sorry for so many questions. You are a great teacher! I am so grateful for your help!!! have a great one! I am so excited to watch more of your videos!
The square is hard to see for blank canva it’s always there right about the middle of the screen top section. The words are not separate on the design but if for some reason they still show just weld the design. Design space has been weird and has been requiring the size to be 7.43 on the shortest measurement. If you want everything to cut as one piece and not a bunch of parts you need to add an offset and flatten

I use a windows computer. When your download was extracted it gave you little images of all the files. When I download things I have to open them one by one to see them. What am I doing wrong?
When you are in the folder right click and it should give you a drop down box then go to view and I choose large images. If you are still now showing a preview you need to choose a default program to open the png files and sadly off the top of my head I can’t remember how to do that but I think if you google default program png windows you would find directions

If you need CM you can just use google to covert the sizing :) but I will keep that in mind in the future

For some reason I'm not getting the email with the templates. I've clicked the link and signed up and it says they will arrive in my email soon but I've still not received them. I've tried it twice and checked my spam folders and everything, still no luck. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I really want this template lol.

It didn’t work for me I did Along with you it still prompted me to resize the images
Since an update you need to make the template 7.43 inches wide. It’s dumb and annoying I was told months ago the issue would be fixed quickly and it had not been. I just tried it with that measurement and it worked perfectly fine
@@CorinneBlackstone My cricut is acting weird. I used Chrome to download the template , and went step by step and it still won't keep the size after I resize it to 7.43 in wide It becomes very skinny and small. any idea what I'm doing wrong?
