Another FABULOUS design Mary! I really love your honesty and authenticity when you're chatting away, I often have your tutorials playing for company whilst I craft (normally a completely different SVGCUTS project!haha! checking out what I want to do next!!) - I SO get what you mean about needing a clone of yourself, I'm normally starting my next idea before I've finished my current make, then I'm inspired by something else...and on it goes!! Sometimes for me, the beginning and designing is the most exciting as it's new and challenging xx

Mary, what a thorough, precise video! Your creations are are always so detailed they really are a step above all others. Example, you could have put in flat windows but the recessed windows are so
much more realistic! I was happy to hear you talk about scoring. Using the maker I use the debossing tool for scoring but still cannot always get a fold right on the line. I mostly do cards and the dashed lines eventually break for folding back and forth and the envelopes break also. So glad you used the dashed lines for this, I will do the same since the building will not be manipulated over and over. I have been doing your wonderful creations for over ten years now, hard to pick favorites! You are so very talented that I am always excited when you present something new and this tutorial is the best , ever!!! Thanks

Beautiful. That glue applicator is called The Precision Glue Press by My Sweet Petunia. Trouble is most places are sold out here in the UK. It's very popular. Hope that helps. 😊

What a gorgeous project!! Unfortunately, there aren't many scrapbook stores around anymore. There is one about an hour north of me (I live in Pittsburgh PA) called Scrapbook Superstation. My favorite store is in West Haven Utah called Country Craft Creations. They have the brick and mortar as well as an online store. The glue in then Precision Glue Press is from Novo. I'm not a fan of that glue so I replaced it with my Art Glitter Glue 🙃

What weight paper do you use. Also do you use regular scrapbook paper for the coverings on the walls

Hi Machelle! Thanks for reaching out!
The card stock that I like to use and that I recommend is textured card stock that's about 80#. This is typically the card stock that's sold by-the-sheet in big box craft stores.
I particularly like Encore paper by 12x12 Cardstock and AC Cardstock by American Crafts.
However, a wide range of types and weights of card stock can work well. With that being said, if you find that your blade is tearing up the paper and it's not dull, then it may be one of the few types of card stock that doesn't cut well. I don't run into that often, but it can happen. :)
And yes, regular scrapbook paper is wonderful for the wall panels. Really any paper will work wonderfully for them.
Please let me know if you have any other questions! :) ~Mary

I got this design, but trying to cut, and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to score in design space. I did go into the extras and uploaded in the solid score lines, but it does not attach as a score line where they should be. How do I get this to attach as a score line? Thanks

Hi Jean! I'm sorry to hear that you were having trouble with that. You need to go back and use the Attach button.
It sounds like you're in the "Prepare" portion of Make It.
      1. click Cancel
      2. select both a shape AND its score lines
      3. click Attach (bottom right area)
When you click Make It, you'll see that the shape and its score lines are together on one mat.
You'll need to do this for any multi-layered element that needs to "stay together." Generally, that would just be a shape and its score lines, although sometimes an additional third layer exists. In that case, simply select all three and click Attach.
Please do let me know if you need any more help. I'd be happy to send more specific instructions via e-mail if you'd like. Thank you! ~Mary

@@svgcuts Thanks, for your response. After some more thought I did finally figure out what I was doing wrong.
