Yes, weeding on the mat is so much better. I also keep the covers from mats i throw away and I cut them to different sizes to cover the unused parts of the mat so I am not touching the sticky parts to prevent the mat from losing its stickyness or getting oils from hands and so forth.
You can use Mod Podge to seal the stencil instead of paint also and since it dries clear it's easier to use.
I have the desire to make perfect bows, I just don’t have the ability to make them!
When it comes to the alcohol inks. I have an artist friend in North Carolina that makes her own alcohol inks and shared them with me. ( And maybe 😉 😉 the recipe to make more😁)

I had a cute idea while watching. Do three of these with red, then use green faux leather to cut holly leaf shapes. You could add structure with some floral wire. If you add a few sprigs of spruce and tie the ornaments together with the leather, you could make a really cute oversized holly decoration for your walls or wreaths!

I love the amber colored glass balls. But i have to say that i cracled up with i heard "Pompas" grass. My mother called it Pompas grass her whole life and we live on the coast. Lol
❤ instead of using the original film over the mat if you have PEt film from some htv use that over your mat which helps to save your mat too 👍
